Setting
- Antor II: Basically a grimier version of Las Vegas. Mining planet with gambling and other vices in the service industry to support the economy. Supposedly the capital of the Colonial Coalition, but that's mainly because no other world wanted to let Meridian (the most prosperous of the seven Coalition colonies) have the title. In actuality, Antor II has little say over the affair of other colonies. The planet's atmosphere isn't toxic but the air is extremely thin outside of the domed cities and along with the scorching heat, you wouldn't want to stay out for too long.
- Jade Dragon's Casino: One of the largest establishments in New Macau, Antor II, located right in the heart of Grand Boulevard. Heavily damaged/destroyed during the mission's opening attack. Had an impressive holographic dragon duel free show to attract visitors.

Mission Summary
Act 1
Shortly after the USS Veritas arrives at Antor II, a bomb was detonated on the busy Grand Boulevard city center in New Macau, with casualties feared to be in the thousands. The capital world of the Colonial Coalition had been damaged by groundquakes not long before, and the impact of the attack was severe. With the planet’s atmosphere too thin to support life for longer than a few days, the destruction of the atmospheric domes protecting surface settlements would place the colony’s future in jeopardy. Starfleet has routed the starship Veritas there to provide aid to the damaged colony.
Veritas found her resources stretched to the limit. Coordinated by Captain Roshanara Rahman, the Starfleet cruiser dispatched her specialized search and rescue (SAR) teams led by Commander Kelrod to the surface, where the starship and her colony counterparts transported as many of the injured to Veritas’ sickbay as possible under the care of chief medical officer Dr. Nikki Ryan.
On the surface, a science team lead by Veritas first officer Lieutenant Commander Mei’konda succeeded in closing a small subspace tear that had apparently formed after the detonation of a modified tricobalt explosive, further evidence that the damage to the colony was intentional.
Meanwhile, engineering teams under Lieutenant Commander Luna Walker worked to find solutions to the potentially progressive damage caused by the explosions. Considering that radiation is still a concern for people on the surface, the Starfleet engineers have been working to find temporary shelter for colonists in underground mines, which will better protect them.
However, a cave in occured at the mines, and Walker along with another engineer were trapped and injured before being successfully rescued by the SAR team. Ensign Sepek discovered that the tricobalt used in the explosion was Starfleet in origin, though whether stolen or salvaged is yet unknown. The crew was subsequently reunited for a staff briefing.
Act 2
Captain Rahman has ordered one team consisting of Commander Mei’konda, Commander Kelrod, Lieutenant Tuk, Ensign Fullus, and Commander Blair to return to the mines to look for any remaining evidence left at the site. Meanwhile, Lieutenant Delano, Commanders Walker, Lieutenant Rosek, and Ensign Sepek are remaining on board to investigate the signal of a transmission sent from a way station in the Shadows to see if Jilor's location can be pinpointed. Drs. Ryan and Skyfire remain in Sickbay tending to the injured and assisting the colony's recovery efforts.
