Deep Space 33

Deep Space 33 is a Sigma Class Federation space station[1] located just within the Alpha Isles region of space, in what it's known as Sector Alpha 113. [2]

Sector Alpha 113 contained a large portion of empty space within the lsles, with a penchant for minor stardust events produced by a scattering nebula. A handful of young, uninhabitable or primitive star systems.... and in the heart of it all, waltzing along the invisible tension of the different gravitational forces that surrounded it, Deep Space 33.

"Split (part I)", Lt. Cmdr. Alieth, USS Ronin), 240108.11

Construction was completed on Deep Space 33 in 2400, when it welcomed the USS Arrow as its first visiting starship. The Saber class vessel would go on to call the base 'home' for the duration of its assignment in the region. USS Ronin was refitted in its spacedock, and parted in her shakedown cruise from the Station in 240009.19[3][4], as a second ship with a base at the station in order to support the work of the USS Arrow in view of the rapidly deteriorating political situation in the region.

Notable Characters

  • Ambassador Archibald Samuel Buford the Third: The Ambassador in charge of the Federation's diplomatic relations with the other powers active on the Alpha Isles. His relationship with Starfleet officials remained tense, to say the least, as he considered Starfleet as one of the reasons why the Federation's diplomatic relations with the rest of the powers active on the Alpha Isles were flawed.
  • Commander Agatha Stergis: Station Commander. A tough and seasoned Starfleet veteran. Her relationship with Buford was one of strained tolerance.
  • Lieutenant Commander Artinus Serinus: Chief of Security, formerly stationed on the USS Arrow,
