The Subspace Cafe is located in the Ashalla District of Starbase 118, and is notable for featuring some of the finest blends of coffee in the galaxy. The shopowner is a Tellarite by the name of Shail. Over the course of the last few years, Shail has researched and been able to recreate almost any form of coffee that has been brewed. He leaves Raktajino to the Klingon establishments of the Qo'noS District. The subspace cafe is a cozy atmosphere that is often packed in the morning as patrons seek to get a good cup of coffee before starting their days. At night, the cafe takes on a different mood as artists, poets, and singers often entertain the customers as they sip their evening brew.
