The ran into each other again during the aftermath of the Romulan peace talks, and after going on a short walk Sol shared lunch with her and Ambassador Lukin Zorkal at their residence in the Coranum District.

Solaris first met Sinda during the Constitution's holiday party. They spent most of the night playing darts and getting to know each other, on the 2nd level of the ships bar. Things became more intimate between the pair during shore leave following the discovery of the USS Unity. Things have continued to grow between Essen and Solaris, leaving Sol slightly confused about Essen's intent, having originally thought Essen wasn't looking for a serious relationship. Sol later tracked down Essen on Starbase 104 and confessed her love to her. After having to go on long term convert assignment, Sol realized it was unfar to Essen to leave her without being able to where she was going. She decided to end their relationship, hoping to remain friends with Essen.
