The FTS T’Karn is Captained by a really nasty Terran hybrid. His crew is. . . consigned, sort of. The captain has kidnapped the best crew he could find forcing them to serve. They don't leave because the alternative is worse.
The T’Karn is hauling ore from Wheeler Colony that is refined and then sold to the Grendellai for their stealth technology. The T’Karn is equipped with an ion cannon of sorts and the Captain has some very nifty tricks for eluding whoever is pursuing him. He’s been Captaining for something like 10 years in this region of space.
