The Battle of Eratis (also known as the Battle of Deep Space 17) was fought near Deep Space 17 in the Eratis system in 2383. The Gorn tried to annex the Ithassa Region, and attacked DS17. They were held at bay by an outnumbered Federation fleet under the Ursa Major until Federation and Gorn diplomats agreed to a cease-fire.
