The Menthar Corridor is a region of space between the Cardassian Union, Breen Confederacy and Tholian Assembly and is previously unexplored by Federation starships. The USS Mercury is the first Federation ship to enter the Menthar Corridor via special arrangement with the Cardassian Detapa Council.

Locations within the Corridor

• Menthar Anchorage - an independent Ferengi trading station.
• Eta Corvi - A planetary system and home of the Corvians
  • Deep Space 10 - a dilapidated hulk of ancient origin in orbit around Eta Corvi IV, adapted to serve the USS Mercury as a home base.
• JB-437 - An uninhabited, rocky planetary system three light years from Deep Space 10.
• Vega Sirenti - A habitable, uncolonized planetary system approximately fifty light years from Deep Space 10.
• 83 Leonis - A habitable planetary system containing an endangered pre-warp civilization.
• Nygel - A rocky, binary star system containing traces of ancient Iconian habitation.
