Ambassador Scott Walker served as the Romulan ambassador for 20 years. During that time, Romulan influences required him to shift his entire family to Romulus to “help foster better communication”. During this time, his son Benjamin was born. Benjamin was raised in the Romulan method, but kept from any permanent harm by his Federation ties.


After 10 years had passed, Kristina Carcosa, ambassador Walker’s wife, could no longer accept the pressures required of her on Romulus. After a difficult period, she divorced and returned to Earth. Benjamin was offered the opportunity to return to Earth, but turned it down.

While he excelled at finding innovative solutions to problems, he was extremely distrustful of any of his classmates. Further, where other cadets had no issues working with each other to solve a problem, several times Ben Walker was unable to find the solution alone. During this time, Mr. Walker’s scores were not sufficient for him to graduate with his class. All of his instructor’s were quick to point out that he was competent to complete the tasks assigned, but his lack of interaction with others was a critical point that could not be ignored.

However, Mr. Walker was still scheduled for graduation in his class, with minor honors. Instructors discovered to their dismay and growing agitation that Mr. Walker’s record had been altered, removing the negative comments they had made.

Tracing back, it was determined that Mr. Walker had hacked the Academy computer, changed the records, and removed the traces of his actions. At the suggestion of Academy Counselor Basku, Mr. Walker was confronted on his actions. During this confrontation, he was told that although his actions were horrible he would be given the option to prove his skill by taking over control of a Galaxy class starship. He was transported into a holodeck already preprogrammed to ignore any of his commands, setup as the ship in question. During this test he was indeed able to override the normal command structure of the ship. On doing so, he was able to take control but not sensors. As part of this multi-day simulation, the ship was destroyed around him due to a standard meteor shower…that due to his efforts the crew was unable to avoid.

Due in no small part to his parent’s status and position, he was shifted back one year to a group of people who did not know his previous actions. In general, Ben Walker is very reserved about any thoughts or feelings he has that are not related to his work. However, while working on a given task he attacks it with all of the repressed energy most put into interpersonal affairs. Slightly paranoid due to his Romulan upbringing, he nonetheless has an exceptional grasp of innovative uses for standard technologies. -->

"Banned From Argo" was written in 1977 by Leslie Fish as part of a cassette tape entitled Solar Sailors. The song itself was based on Star Trek: The Original Series. The song was recognized with a Pegasus Award in 2003 for Best Classic Filk Song, and in 2013, Leslie sang it at Worldcon on a model of the NCC-1701 Bridge, while sitting in Captain Kirk's chair. To date, there are over 500 known verses of "Banned from Argo." Our version of "Banned from Argo" features the adventures of the USS Garuda in the Menthar Corridor!

Lluneh Walker was born on the planet Romulus, but soon moved with her parents to Earth. Due to her parents' status, she was brought up near enough the San Francisco to spend a great deal of her time on the coast and at the beach. Raised in that area, she quickly became something of a rebel. Initially only to her Romulan heritage, due in no small part to the adoption of same by her older brother Ben. However, this escalated into a rebellion against authority of all sorts. Her aptitude for mechanical and electronic items served her well as she broke into supposedly secure areas, leaving behind an unmistakable calling card each time as she dared them to catch her. A dare that was completed when her mother intervened prior to Luna's attempt to leave a document on a Starfleet admiral's desk stating that the Federation was imposing their views unfairly on other cultures.Based on her aptitudes, and as her penance, Luna was entered into the Academy where she quickly made a great number of friends, and garnered an almost equal number of demerits for her continued conduct.

*237810.01 Entered Starfleet academy – majored in Engineering and Security with no minor determined. Several incidents logged, coursework and testing was completed as high levels, but scores reduced due to attitude.
*2377 – second year cadet – Continued to major in Engineering and Security. Primarily in response to first year choices. One incident involving the...research. ..of several cadet's quarters as part of an elaborate prank. Cadet was requested to remove herself from Security major, and completed additional coursework through the summer to allow her to continue to third year.
*2378 – Third year cadet Majored in Science and Engineering, Minored in Tactical operations. Many potential, unproven incidents, including the replicators in the Security Chairperson's office and home being configured to only produce sour grapes.
*2379 – Forth years cadet –Majored in Science and Engineering, minored in engineering development and design. No incidents proven, though the occurrence of "coincidences" abounded.
*2380 – Fifth year cadet – Was recommended to work in Engineering Research and Development, turned down offer for starship duty. Took cadet cruise and is currently awaiting assignment.

"Banned From Argo" was written in 1977 by Leslie Fish as part of a cassette tape entitled Solar Sailors. The song itself was based on Star Trek: The Original Series. The song was recognized with a Pegasus Award in 2003 for Best Classic Filk Song, and in 2013, Leslie sang it at Worldcon on a model of the NCC-1701 Bridge, while sitting in Captain Kirk's chair. To date, there are over 500 known verses of "Banned from Argo." Our version of "Banned from Argo" features the adventures of the USS Garuda in the Menthar Corridor!
