Background
Born on Denobula to an architect mother and a father who specialized in caring for Denobulan lemurs. Siben grew up entrenched in the boisterous communal culture of his homeworld. So much so that when the time came for higher education he chose to stay on the world and attend the Denobulan Science Academy. After eight years of study, he earned a PhD in Agricultural Sciences for his research in Airponics.
After his findings were published, Siben wanted to do more with the knowledge he had and continue his research as well. The vaguely militaristic nature of Starfleet did not appeal to him so he turned to the Federation Diplomatic Corp instead preferring the more social nature. His assignment to Amity Outpost in the Delta Quadrant made the choice all the more correct to him.
