| The USS Gorkon is a [[Sovereign Class Starships|Sovereign class]] starship, launched in 2392 under the command of then Captain {{n|Quinn|Reynolds}}. Named for the famed [[Klingon]] chancellor who forged peace between the Klingon Empire and the Federation, the newest of the Sovereign line is intended to follow in his footsteps as a warrior, peacemaker and visionary.

| Her primary theatre of operations is the [[Tyrellian Sector]], where she leads and participates in Starfleet's continuing scientific, diplomatic and defence efforts. To support this effort, the Sovereign's usually modest VIP and scientific facilities have been upgraded to include additional configurable quarters, enhanced sensor arrays and a larger number of laboratories. Increased automation has resulted in a lower crew requirement, providing ample space for these expansions. Additionally, the Gorkon is equipped with a quantum slipstream device so that she can rapidly deploy to provide tactical support to the Federation vessels in the area.

Welcome
The USS Arrow is a Saber class under the command of Commander Randal Shayne. Constructed just before the second Borg incursion of 2373, her first voyage was in the middle of that battle. She then saw extensive combat during the Dominion War, and her battle scarred surface still shows evidence of that horrific conflict.
She served as a support vessel for StarBase 118 Ops and was briefly under the command of Captain Mal Avatar. Her missions while attached to StarBase 118 varied from simple patrol missions to escort duty. During the first few months following the change of command of Operations to Captain Avatar, the Arrow was the lone fully operational vessel permanently assigned to StarBase 118.
In 2397, after a somewhat unusual happenstance in the Aavaro Wilds, she embarked on independent operations under the command of Commander Randal Shayne.
