XB3 ("Ioosia") is a Class O planet in a relatively unknown part of the Ithassa Region. The surface is approximately 87% water. Discovered by the USS Crick in the late 2360's, a runabout was dispatched in 2370 by Deep Space 17 to set up a cultural observation post. The purpose of the intended post was to observe the indigenous Ioosi, but the runabout crashed upon arrival.
