German Galven/History Immediate Parents German's parents are known to be very enthusiastic with just about anything. Yet, they can also be very secretive or kept to themselves unless the moment presents itself. They don't think they're being cryptic. They are civilian scientists and have their own science institute close to their home in San Diego. After Arlil's abduction and presumed assimilation by the Borg, she convinced German to intern at the labs with an assistant of hers which eventually became something more. While Galven Sr is often unavailable due to his wandering curiosity, Aza tends to be more around and often shows up unexpectedly. She's incapable of minding her own business and always wants to know what German is up to, going to great lengths in providing her own input. Most would call her overbearing, she would call herself a loving mother and "...is it so wrong for a loving mother to support her son and shower him with affection?" |

USS Veritas

Roshanara Rahman Colleague/Mentor German's first Commanding Officer on the USS Veritas for the first few months of his career. He was very intimidated by her at first, but he started to see her as a mentor towards him. Captain Rahman helped him talk out his feelings towards a mission that an away team he was apart of had been kidnapped by an unknown species. They only served with one another for three months until German transferred with Mei'konda and a few others to the USS Montreal after her former crew were attacked by Tholians. |
USS Veritas, USS Montreal, and USS Astraeus

Mei'konda Colleague/Mentor German's second Commanding Officer on the USS Astraeus. The Caitian Commander was the first officer of the USS Veritas so when German transferred with him and a couple of the other crew, German felt confident enough to perform his duties. During this time there was a highly wanted Vulcan terrorist that the Montreal and her crew chased all over the Shoals which eventually led the ship's self destruction. |
Starbase 118 Operations

Sal Taybrim Current Captain After transferring to the starbase, German was quick to get acquainted with the Betazoid captain. They formed a unique working relationship and soon after during his first shoreleave, German brought Sal to relax on the beaches of Aruba with him. The third captain to be over German, Sal made the Denobulan his second officer which made German quickly look up to his new mentor. |

Sheila Bailey Close Colleague The only constant in German's life has been Sheila which has been almost a year and a half in the making. They both didn't know what to make of each other in the beginning and throughout, but when they were transferred together from the Astraeus to Starbase 118 Ops, they began working closer with one another. |

Geoffrey Teller Colleague/Friend German's first roommate. At first, the Denobulan thought the Engineer was very annoying, but after one particular day, they found out they had a mutual liking to retro chalkboards and pranks. Whether by free will or German pushing him along, they took some dry ice and threw it in the pool. It didn't do anything. |

Lorian Lovar Colleague/Best Friend A month after being placed on the USS Veritas, another science officer boarded the ship as well. A little apprehensive at first, German has made friends with Lovar and the two could be seen in the science labs fiddling around with experiments. They were both promoted to Lieutenant JG together. Soon after, German transferred to the USS Montreal and Lorian took a LOA for personal reasons. |

Alora DeVeau Colleague/Friend Right before German transferred from the USS Veritas to the USS Montreal, he had met Alora and was immediately drawn towards her personality. After twenty months of transfers, ships self destructing, and decommissioning, German was reunited with Alora again when she was posted on Starbase 118 Ops. They can be seen together in one of the labs, eating at the many different restaurants in the StarBase 118 Commercial Sector, and all the gardening. Everywhere. They're gradually becoming more of a brother/sister relationship. On 239707.19, she became the assistant chief science officer. |

Beelam Grog Colleague/Friend One day German needed to go to Sickbay because he was experiencing muscle pain. He rrived and couldn't find a doctor, but a nurse approached him. Adter some therapy sessions, they started to become friends and can be seen together in the holodeck either creating scenes from the old west and Shakespearean plays. They also both enjoy talking about temporal mechanics and she can be seen in labs with him. He sees her as if she was like a daughter. |

Lael Rosek Ex-Girlfriend German met Lael on the USS Veritas in the Officer's Lounge. He noticed her earlier that day when she just boarded the vessel. On several occasions, they've been in the holodeck together, mostly because German accidentally interrupts her times there. He's very attracted to her, but both agreed to meet in the middle and take their feelings toward one another slowly. It was short lived however because the Astraeus was then taken by special Starfleet forces and the crew were transferred around the fleet which broke German and Lael apart. |

Sotak Colleague/Friend They met during a science holoconference and then Sotak transferred to the Montreal to which she's now on the Astraeus. They've done a few experiments together as well as have conversations about how to better the science community as a whole. He often finds her engineering, but tends to persuade her very easily to go to one of the labs. |

T'Katt Dugoras Colleague/Counselor/Friend The two met through a counseling session in which T'Katt helped German and his xenophobia against Klingons. They could be seen in the Library together and after a brief argument, they were able to talk about their feelings in another counseling session. Soon after German transferred to the USS Montreal, T'Katt resigned from the USS Veritas due to personal reasons. |
