Born in Cambridge, Massachusetts (Earth), Addison is one of the leading specialists in Microsurgery in Starfleet. A non-traditional officer, MacKenzie was educated at some of Earth's finest institutions, earning degrees in sociology, anthropology, and epidemiology, and completed a medical fellowship in microsurgery after attending Starfleet Academy, thus resulting in a slight delay in her commission. It is her hope to one day become Chief of Surgery at Starfleet Medical. Commander Genkos Adea Genkos Adea Rank: Commander Duty Post: First Officer Age/Species/Sex: 32-year-old Betazoid Male Birthplace: Dekoa, Betazed Commander Genkos Adea is currently serving as the First Officer aboard the USS Artemis-A. Crippled by a transporter malfunction as a young adult, Genkos' left calf and foot were, until recently, biosynthetic created by Genkos and Yiggtissi, and he relied on a cane for support. As of December 2397, and an operation / replacement by Addison MacKenzie and Geoffrey Teller, he is fully mobile and cane-less. Well, that was until his recent trip to the Skarbek universe courtesy of his own brain. Now he's reliant on a cane, again. He is a driven young Betazoid, full of hopes and aspirations. He recently discovered that his father had crippled his telepathic development to hide his crimes, and as such, is struggling to cope with his new powers. Lt. Commander Yogan Yalu Yogan Yalu Rank: Lt. Commander Duty Post: Strategic Operations & Second Officer Age/Species/Sex: 39-year-old Trill (Joined) Male Birthplace: Sarajevo, Earth Yogan Yalu (né Verso, born 15 April 2362, age 37) is a male Joined Trill officer in the Federation Starfleet, currently holding the rank of Lieutenant Commander and serving as Deputy Chief of Strategic Operations for The Borderlands. Ensign Flint Kader Flint Kader Rank: Ensign Duty Post: Helm Officer Age/Species/Sex: 25-year-old Human Male Birthplace: Earth Ensign Flint Kader is currently serving as a Helm Officer aboard the USS Artemis-A. Lt. Commander Talos Dakora Talos Dakora Rank: Lt. Commander Duty Post: Chief Intelligence Officer Age/Species/Sex: 35-year-old Betazoid Male Birthplace: Medara, Betazed Lieutenant Commander Talos Dakora is currently serving as the Chief Intelligence Officer aboard the USS Artemis-A. After his enlistment in the Starfleet Marine Corps, Talos rose through the ranks at a slow, but steady pace. His innate tactical sense and a strong desire to constantly learn and improve himself separated Talos from the rank-and-file. Lieutenant Gabriel Osuna Gabriel Osuna Rank: Lieutenant Duty Post: Chief Security Officer Age/Species/Sex: 40-year-old Human Male Birthplace: Caloocan, Philippines, Earth Gabriel Osuna is a Human Lieutenant serving as Chief Security Officer aboard the USS Artemis-A. He was previously posted aboard Deep Space 9 and Deep Space 224 after serving as a Civilian Security Consultant for the Federation Diplomatic Corps. He grew up on Earth in the city of Caloocan, Philippines with his mother, father, and five siblings. When Deep Space 224 was reactivated in 2397, Gabriel was among those selected to transfer to the new station in the Borderlands, due to his experience working Security aboard a station of significant strategic value, and his background in civilian security consulting. With the impending arrival of the USS Artemis-A, Osuna received reassignment orders to help oversee the successful transition of the ship to the Borderlands and ensure its security needs were met. Lieutenant Vitor Silveira Vitor Silveira Rank: Lieutenant Duty Post: Chief Tactical Officer Age/Species/Sex: 35-year-old Human Male Birthplace: Funchal, Madeira Island, Earth Vitor Silveira was stationed on Starbase 118 after his graduation. After some time, including missions aboard Starbase 118 and the USS Excalibur-A, he took a period of extended leave for health and personal reasons. Returning to Starfleet, serving aboard the USS Juneau and USS Resolution, Silveira would eventually find himself back on the Excalibur, where he served until transferring to the USS Artemis-A along with much of the Excal crew. Lieutenant Hallia Yellir Hallia Yellir Rank: Lieutenant Duty Post: Chief Engineer Age/Species/Sex: 25-year-old Yelikan Female Birthplace: Capital District, Vamong, Yelik Hallia Yellir is a Yelikan and the current Chief Engineering Officer aboard the USS Artemis-A. Previously, she was assigned to the USS Excalibur-A, in wake of the destruction of the USS Resolution. Ensign Savel Savel Rank: Ensign Duty Post: Security Officer Age/Species/Sex: 23-year-old Vulcan Male Birthplace: Alpha Centauri Ensign Savel is currently serving as a Security Officer aboard the USS Artemis-A. Ensign Vedic Koleth Vedic Koleth Rank: Ensign Duty Post: Engineer Age/Species/Sex: 25-year-old Bajoran Male Birthplace: Jalanda City, Bajor Ensign Vedic Koleth, Kole to his friends, is currently serving as an Engineer aboard the USS Artemis-A. Lieutenant JG Jovenan Jovenan Rank: Lieutenant JG Duty Post: Science Officer Age/Species/Sex: 28-year-old Edo Female Birthplace: Rubicun III Lieutenant JG Jovenan is an Edo Starfleet officer. She is currently serving as a science officer aboard the USS Artemis-A. Born on the Edo homeworld in 2373, she enrolled in the University of Hurkos in 2390, when the planet was ending its isolation. Upon graduation with degree in Planetary Sciences, she entered the Starfleet Academy. In 2399, she received the commission as ensign and was posted on the Excalibur, later transferring to the USS Artemis-A with much of the Excal crew. Lieutenant JG Hiro Jones Hiro Jones Rank: Lieutenant JG Duty Post: Medical Officer Age/Species/Sex: 35-year-old Human Nonbinary (they/he) Birthplace: Chicago, IL, Earth Hiro Jones serves as a Medical Officer aboard the USS Artemis-A. Hiro was born in Chicago, IL on Earth's North American continent to Sato Hiroshi, a historical architecture preservationist and Tanya Jones, a florist and boxing instructor. After initially entering Starfleet service in 2387, following extended leave, Jones returned to active duty in 2399 aboard the USS Excalibur-A before transferring to the USS Artemis-A. Ensign Luxa Lorana Luxa Lorana Rank: Ensign Duty Post: Science Officer Age/Species/Sex: 28-year-old Caitian Female Birthplace: Cait Ensign Luxa Lorana is currently serving as a Science Officer aboard the USS Artemis-A, specialising in astronomy and exogeology, although would describe herself as a generalist. Ensign Lorana, also minored in helm and navigation. Born on the Caitian homeworld Cait (natively known as Ferasa). Luxa was born to a well-respected and renowned family. She spent her youth learning about art and culture, and is indeed a talented artist. Luxa left Cait in a shroud of shame after publicly bringing shame upon her mother and family. She then spent some time on the Caitian transport vessel, the Y'Kiran, working as a crewhand, primarily within the loading bays. This is where she discovered her love for science, observing the phenomena she would seen between her shifts and teaching herself the fundamentals of science. Eventually this love of science would aid her when the Y'Kiran responded to a distress call from a Starfleet vessel trapped within a dangerous nebula. Luxa was able to determine, from her studies, the nature of the phenomena and was key in the recovery of the Starfleet crew. This encounter would directly result in her recommendation to join Starfleet, which she would go on to do.
