Father, Age 52, Human Captain of the USS Vigilance and USS Dumfries (deceased) Born on a Former Federation Colony near the Demilitarize Zone, he joins Starfleet to keep up the family tradition and to be an explorer. He served as a tactical officer on the USS Bellaphon and would later become Captain of the USS Vigilance, an Oberth class then USS Dumfries. Alex looked up to her father as a hero and was very distressed when he was killed by Vaadwaur in 2387.

Mother, Age 52, Human Captain of the USS Tennant Born on Vega IX, Sarah grew up in a politically run family but unlike them had a dream to be a scientist. So after graduating from Vega College in 2357, Sarah applied to Starfleet, much to her family's dismay. She was assigned to Starbase One for a few years but later got her big break serving as assistant science officer on the USS Belfast. Her life would change again in 2376 when she was assigned as the first officer on board the USS Vigilance under Captain Robert Forsyth, The two would butt heads for a time but eventually feeling started to emerge and the two started dating. Sarah was giving her own command shortly after her marriage to Forsyth in 2386.

Step-sister, Age 16, Human Cadet at Starfleet Nadia is Alex's adopted sister, She was found by Alex's father when her ship was attacked by Orion pirates and killed her parents. Robert officially adopted her and she grew up in the Dumfries and later Farragut, jumping back and forth with her sister. Alex is very protective of Nadia, threatening all the boys that ask her out. Nadia joined Starfleet Academy in 2401, training to be a Helmsman and engineer.

Half Brother, Age 31, Vulcan/Human Engineer, USS Octavia E Butler Character Page: Valk Born to Lieutenant Robbie Forsyth and Lieutenant T'Vrell on board the USS Bellaphon in 2370 but only for two years, T'Vrell was killed in a Romulan attack. This and the growing tension with the Dominion forces Robbie to hand over Valk to his mother's side of the family on Vulcan, He grew up in Raal City and was treated as an outcast due to human side by most people including his Grandparents. He joined the Vulcan Merchant Navy where he served as a junior technician aboard the S.S. Yarahla until 2399 when he was injured in a plasma leak and forced to seek medical attention on Denail, He found out that Alex was his sister and started chatting about their lives, their father and anything else that came up. Valk later joined Alex on the Butler but found it difficult to settle in properly, so Alex helped get him some work on the ship in engineering.

Auntie, Age 33, Human Commander of Deep Space 44 Jennifer is Alex's Awesome Auntie who get her model ships for her birthday and Christmas, She is the commander of a small space station near the Aavaro Wilds. Jennifer is married to an Andorian named Thani and has a daughter.

Uncle, Age 55, Human Civilian, Former Member of the Maquis Bertram Forsyth is Alex's uncle who like most of the family was in Starfleet but after being forced to give up their home to the Cardassian, Bert defected and joined the Maquis. His time with them was short-lived as he was caught and sent to prison, feeling regret for betraying his family. He also declined to re-join the fleet once pardoned, feeling he did not deserve it. Bert now does odd jobs across the federation and beyond, he has been welcomed back into the family after the death of his brother.

	History

			Before Starfleet ⮟

Alex grew up in her family home town of Dumfries in Scotland. She very much like her father in wanting to explore the stars and dreams of being captain herself one day. The stories he would tell her about his adventures were inspiring, and Offend tried to recreate them in the back garden with her toys. He always made sure to check in with his family and bring a souvenir from his travels.

She suffered from anxiety when she was younger, having trouble interacting with others and mainly keeping to herself, but has gotten better in recent years.

Alex is the older child in the family (until the discovery of her long-lost brother in 2401). She is very protective of her little sister, Nadia was the only survivor of a freighter after it was attacked by pirates and was taken in by her father after he found her.

Her father was killed during the Vaadwaur invasion while on patrol. She, along with her family, were devastated by his loss, and the grief was a little overwhelming for Alex. This caused her anxiety to flare up again, Not wanting to bother her friends with her sadness. It also affected her relationship with Lindsey Bennett, A long-time friend turned girlfriend since high school, but they have since lost touch.

After finishing College, Alex made the very brave choice to enlist in Starfleet. She felt it made sense to follow in her father's footsteps and continue his legacy.

			Starfleet Academy ⮟

Alex joined Starfleet in 239513.08 and later graduated in 239910.03. She followed family tradition by taking the Tactical course and ranked fourth in her class in Combat simulation. Not interested in beating her classmates. She had trouble making friends due to her anxiety, only getting along with a few people, one of whom was Clara Halloway.

Alex develops an interest in making a comic about a Starship called the Adventure of the USS Daring in her spare time between classes. Still, she pushes it aside after graduating, hoping to finish it one day.

During her final exam, she was put into a mock training test with other classmates, including Fairhug, but the two didn't properly meet until a few days after she arrived at Denali.

			Denali Station⮟

First day on Denali

Alex arrived at her first posting at Denali Station after an explosion that destroyed a building called the Ivory Spire, While rescue operations were Underway. Alex was assigned to work with Lieutenant Stelek to see if they could either prove foul play was involved or to find out what really happened.

They choose to speak with the owner of Club Möbius as a first point of call, Then later question the Cardassian delegation but find no real clues pinning them to the event.

Mission:Take Me Somewhere Else (Denali Station) Stardate 239909.10- 239911.05

Denali's years

Captain Gogigobo Fairhug cross-security training exercises with Alex Forsyth, and Ozai Y'zyr are put on hold as an incoming meteor shower threatens the ring and station. Alex helped Fairhug coordinate with the city to underground bunkers and later set up a triage for the injured. There Alex is tasked with Corporal Francisco Villa and joins some time after by Chief Warrant Officer Gwen Kingsley to get the station defence online.

They barely survive the first wave, Alex suffers a broken arm but eventually, the crew manage to save Denail and ring but the damage is severe and the rebuilding effort took some time.

During Shore's leave, Alex went on a small date with Kingsley. They went on a few more during her time on station and made friends with an officer named Alan Letts

She was also promoted to Lieutenant JG and award the Purple heart.

Mission: Annihilation Approaches (Denali Station) Stardate 240001.03-240003.20

Alex also took part in recovering a lost Bajoran orb on Osalu III, which was causing some erratic temporal shifts on the surface. She stays on the eagle at tactical and tries her new Emp weapon on a mercenary vessel also looking for the Orb.

The Emp had a bad interaction with temporal anomalies littering the area and Ensign Letts was caught in a temporal shock wave, Presume MIA. This left Alex feeling responsible for what happened, They were able to recover the Orb and return to Denali.

Mission: Orb of Renewal (Denali Station) Stardate 240005.13-240008.06

Denail held a huge race called the Denali Invitational with a bunch of other Starfleet ships taking part, Alex watched the start of the race with a few crew from other ships including at the time but didn't realise it, One of her heroes Aine Sherlock

Things were going well as the race started until one of the Racers suddenly lost their engine and crashed into a woodland area of the city, Alex was recalled to assist in the rescue operation and stop an attempted terrorist attack as well.

Mission: The Invitational (Denali Station) Stardate 240009.18–240011.23

Alex took part in an infiltration mission to Lightside Station with Kettick, Kendrick and Falt to find and stop the terrorists from bringing chaos to the Aavaro Wilds. There they helped the station Constable, Injara and were able to apprehend some of those responsible but faild to stop thier leader from escaping.

Long Lost brother and change of scenery

While a Vulcan named Valk was being treated at Denali after a malfunction on his ship, It was revealed that he was related to Alex via her father.

After her last away mission to investigate Denali's sister city, where she suffered a panic attack, Alex decided it was time for a change of scenery and put in for a transfer.

			USS Octavia E. Butler ⮟

Octavia E Butler years

• 2401

As of 2401, Alex transferred to the USS Octavia E Butler in the Gamma Quadrant. She arrived at a very interesting time as the ship was investigating a curious anomaly that seemed very similar to a wormhole, suddenly it expanded and pulled the ship inside. They find themselves 800 years into the future and on low power, Alex joins the bridge crew and helps check to see if tactical systems are recoverable and scan the area surrounding them.

She finds what appears to be a destroyed Starfleet vessel floating nearby, Promontory task her and ensign Yinn to conduct a salvage operation via a shuttle. They head over in a shuttle and EVA suits, Yinn detects a high number of transporter signatures throughout, so board the intact part of the vessel and run some scans, Alex warns about finding future tech as on cue. Yinn discovers a Starfleet combadge but as she grabs it, she is suddenly teleported to open space. That was when she realised it was a mini transporter, She managed to get it to take her back to Alex and give her a little fright. They continued their search and were able to recover some parts to use on the Butler.

Alex was later back on the bridge on tactical again, keeping watch while the rest of the crew were doing a heist for a time crystal. She offers her idea to use her EMP weapon from Denali, Lieutenant Herrick agrees and it was used to take care of an automated probe that threatened to take the ship for salvage.
