The USS Eagle is currently docked in the huge spacedocks of StarBase 118. The ship has not yet been assigned and its launch has been delayed by a recurrance of a computer system failure.
The end of the Dominion war has meant that the Eagle's repair work has been put on hold as other repair work is prioritised. An intrepid class vessel, the ship will be categorised as an explorer, on a deep space mission.
