The StarBase 118 Promenade (referred to simply as "The Promenade" by SB 118 residents) is a distinct area of the StarBase 118 Commercial Sector.

The bulbous mid-section of StarBase 118 is referred to as the "Commercial Sector," which is an umbrella term for any and all establishments and locations within the dome. However, due to it's large size, there are many sub-sections of this dome, which include the Promenade, and a number of other commercial zones. The Promenade itself is a lively, walkable area of the domed city, made up of a number of neighborhoods including "Kronos," "New Orleans," "San Francisco," and "Hong Kong," among a few others. These neighborhoods are named after the planets or cities they resemble, and the vast majority of establishments within these neighborhoods are "themed" appropriately to correspond.
