Starfleet rushed the Cutlass-class into production during the Dominion War, but is waiting to see long term results of this classes performance before determining whether more should be built. The Cutlass class was specifically designed to carry the new FI-25 "Crossbow" Interceptor, but can be reconfigured to accept other fighter designs. Class Cutlass Class
