Marlee Tan was the previous host of Alleran Tan. She was a scientist and, unlike the current Tan host, extremely focused and headstrong. Her influence is keenly felt in the current Tan host.

- Quarters: Marlee loved to decorate; her quarters, no matter where they were, would always be bright and cheerful.

- Mannerisms/Habits: Kind but remarkably focused and an overachiever, Marlee was a woman who didn't let anyone tell her what to do.

Marlee's past and how it effects the present
- Marlee was involved in the development of weather sensors which were used to detect ionic storms. A failure in these sensors lead to the death of the family of the Mar symbiont's previous host. Marlee blamed herself until the day she died; Alleran carries a fair chunk of that guilt with him even today.
- Marlee was part of the search and rescue team sent to locate the USS_Ackerman. Alleran has yet to discuss this with Commander Whale, possibly out of guilt that the ship wasn't found.
