Petty Officer Third Class Danilo Pitik was a security officer aboard the USS Independence-A. Currently, Danilo Pitik is recovering from a horrid injury wrought by Marari aboard the USS Independence-A. His life was saved by Captain Sidney Riley as he required a full heart replacement. The transition from a natural heart to a prosthetic one has not been easy and his road back into service will be a long one.
Pitik is a PNPC simmed by Alleran Tan.

Mannerisms
- Quarters: Pitik and T'tala are offically quartered apart, although unofficially they wereliving together for nearly five months before their separation.
- Favorite Room: Holodeck. A common choice, Pitik values it for the same reasons most of the crew do; the ability to appear anywhere, to engage in any kind of scenario, intrigues him.
- Mannerisms/Habits: Pitik is rarely seen without a broad smile.
- Temperment: Enigmatic and friendly, Pitik is the ultimate crowd pleaser. A friendly face at parties, Pitik is a social creature and a natural leader.

Relationships
Danilo Pitik and Commander Whale were trapped on Deep Space 17 when it was overrun by the Vaadwaur in 238706.28 during the Second Battle of Eratis. When Whale was critically injured by Vaadwaur fire, Pitik dragged him back to the Tiger, effectively saving his life. Whale's recovery has been very slow, but Whale expressed a significant debt to the energetic young man.
Pitik is the leader of Security Team Six, one of many security teams aboard the Tiger. In direct violation of Starfleet Fraternization Guidelines, he was engaged in a romantic/sexual relationship with one of the members of his team, Crewman T'tala. The nature of their relationship is unknown since his injury and lack of knowledge regarding her pregnancy.
