Hermes Station (often colloquially referred to as the Hermes Outpost) is located in a small system not too far from Cait. It had some fixed weapons that were destroyed in the initial attack. The '''station is mostly ground-based''' on the only M-class planet in the system, the planet is small - just so a planet. Features include the central structure, a large communications array, and several orbital telescopes and sensor platforms. The station is a communications hub for the Marchlands and surrounding areas, that helped coordinate activities across the southern sectors of the Federation. Its sensors also allow for large amounts of data gathering for both scientific and intelligence purposes. With close proximity to a Federation world and the Tholians typically avoiding that section of the border, the station has been assigned a very limited on-site presence for some time.

=== Week/Hour 5 (Act 2) ===
News of the Frontier Day situation continues to spread like a wildfire across the ship. Unfortunately, most of the rumors spreading are entirely unfounded. This doesn’t stop crew members and civilians alike from panicking, however, and soon this leads to altercations, such as a young Officer being on verge of starting a row in the Saloon (Constitution's 10 Forward). Counselor Ensign Ba'el diffused upcoming panic by organizing a 'Distraction Karaoke' for those not occupied with repairs. Ba’el and Security Trainee LtJG Lystra continue making their way through the ship to diffuse the situation, their way leading them to the board school in which young children cause quite a ruckus by throwing unfounded theories around and upsetting their fellow students. First Officer LtCmdr Diz’mim Ch’Nilmani manages to calm the Bridge Officers who had begun to panic about their loved ones in the Sol System and continues to work on the organisation of repair efforts.
Down on the Hermes Outpost, Commodore Jalana Rajel and Second Officer LtCmdr Laria Herren began to wrap up their meeting with Captain Va Remy when Engineering Officer Lt Mingxing Shimisi joined them. He informed them that Ensign Jiroo Zaka and other engineering officers were now on the outpost to begin repairs. Rajel and Herren leave Va to return to the Constitution with the promise to check in with the Hermes’ Captain soon. Va informs Shimisi that comms and defense systems should be among their priority repairs.
Also down on the outpost, unaware of the situation in the Sol System, Assistant Chief Medical Officer LtJG Ellie Park follows Crewmen 1st Class Anzol (Indrid Yirah) of the Hermes to find an injured officer. She finds herself unable to reach the officer due to a wall of rubble from when the outpost had been hit. Working with Anzol, she tries to get a path to the injured officer but the debris proves unstable.
Back on the Constitution, Rajel and Herren met first to review the News transmission from Sol, and then proceed to make a general plan of action in case the situation moved towards the Marchlands. Rajel left to head to Engineering and check in on the progress of the Constitution’s own repairs. On the bridge, Herren checked in with Ch’Nilmani and informed him that she was to connect with tactical and intel while he focused on keeping the crew under control in the midst of the chaos caused by news of Frontier Day. While there, they receive a message: Fleet status update from Regional Command to ships in the region, from Admiral Treen-Cti. The update informs them that the fleet formation mode had been hijacked and there were unconfirmed reports of assimilations by unknown means. Though the use of 'assimilations' doesn't leave any doubt what has happened in the Sol System.
Down in the Intelligence Suite, Cmdr T’Mar, Senior Commander Nugra, and LtJG Tann Ilix continue to work with LtCmdr Atan T’Seva and LtCmdr Azura Ada to work on confirming the identity of the alleged pirates that attacked the outpost. With news of the Frontier Day situation arriving in the suite, the group begins to question if the two incidents are related. Herren calls down to T’Seva and instructs her to start working on preparations in case any threats in the area try to take advantage of the situation in the Sol System.
With the situation becoming increasingly tense, will the crew be able to rally and complete the repairs on the Hermes Outpost? Are the attackers somehow tied to the situation in the Sol System? Tune in next time!
=== Week/Hour 6 (Act 2) ===
Listen all ya’ll, it’s sabotage! Or at least, that is what the engineers on the Hermes Outpost are now suspecting…
While working on repairs on the Hermes Outpost, Ensign Jiroo Zaka and two of the Ollos noticed something suspicious about the damage to the internal sensors. After consulting with Lt Mingxing Shimisi, they concluded the damage did not appear to be from the attack. The damage appeared to be the result of probable sabotage, leading to concerns about who could have done such a thing.
Meanwhile the Security team lead by Akeelah D'Sena has discovered a strange crystal hidden behind some coolant pipes. Has someone just misplaced a toy or does it have anything to do with the strange transporter signal Tactical detected after the battle - a working Theory of D'Sena herself. What is it and why is it there?
Also on the Outpost, Assistant Chief Medical Officer LtJG Ellie Park continued to work with Crewmen 1st Class Anzol (Indrid Yirah) to rescue an injured officer. With a wall of rubble between her and the injured officer, Ellie opted to risk crawling through an opening. As she was doing so, she was contacted by an irate Commodore Jalana Rajel. The Commodore had first checked in with Engineering and informed the Chief Lt. Cmdr Lida Khenn of the need to prioritize the repairs on the Outpost. The Chief made her way to the Outpost to assist Zaka and Shimisi and Rajel made her way to Sickbay. Upon learning that the medical team was awaiting information from Park and were still on stand by almost two hours after the work on the outpost started, she contacted the aforementioned doctor and expressed the need to hurry things along, in a way that made the medical staff wonder if the Commodore might be more than just a little stressed.
Back on the Conny, security teams continue working to calm down the panicked crew. Counselor Ba’el and Security Trainee LtJG Lystra managed to control a situation with panicking children in one of the ship’s classrooms. On the bridge, First Officer LtCmdr Diz’mim Ch’Nilmani continued to monitor the situation and was contacted by Zaka about the suspected sabotage.
Down in the Intelligence Suite, Cmdr T’Mar, Senior Commander Nugra, and LtJG Tann Ilix continued their work, but all signs are beginning to point to Tholians being behind the attack on the Outpost. LtCmdr Atan T’Seva began working with LtJG Imas Heeka to see if the Cardassians would be able to assist if needed, while LtCmdr Herren did the same with the Klingons. LtCmdr Azura Ada was called away to assist Engineering in repairing the deep sensor array in orbit of the outpost and hopefully get some more answers.
Is there a saboteur on the Hermes Outpost? Are the Tholians behind the attack? Tune in next time to see if the Conny crew can get some answers!
=== Week/Hour 7-9 ===
Suspicions or Paranoia? Theories abound amongst the crew of the Constitution.
Down on the Hermes Outpost, an impatient Captain Va Remy joined Engineering officers Ensign Jiroo Zaka and Lt Mingxing Shimisi and Chief Lt. Cmdr Lida Khenn. Zaka shared the news about the apparent sabotage, however Lida and Va remained skeptical. Zaka voiced his disdain for the sabotage not being taken as seriously as he would prefer. Va pressed the engineers to work faster on the repairs and left to meet with Lida in private after expressing her distaste for Zaka’s behavior.
Ozameen Malyz, Medical Cadet of the Constitution, is working with Medical Officer Anzol in the Hermes outpost to regain access to the medical wing. As the access area was destroyed by the former attack, they utilize the help of Operations Officer Byron Tench to remove the rubble through the transporters and establish support beams to regain access to medical to treat injured.
Meanwhile, on the Constitution, Commodore Jalana Rajel continued making her rounds. She made her way to the Tea Room where Ensign Ba’el and LtJG Lystra along with LtJG Torrel were dealing with the aftermath of a confrontation. All seemed fine until Lystra noticed that Jalana was using ranks instead of names when addressing them. When she left, Lystra contacted Senior Commander Nugra and informed him of the odd behavior.
Assistant Chief Medical Officer LtJG Ellie Park was able to make her way to the injured officer in the outpost and beamed back onboard the ship to perform surgery on them. After a successful surgery, she saw the Tea Room had requested medical assistance and made her way there to check on the situation. Upon learning that Park was out of the loop, Ba’el and Lystra caught her up on what happened in the Sol System as well as their suspicions of Jalana. As they left the room to continue looking for other disputes, they discussed possible causes for the unusual behavior and considered having Park do a medical exam on her to see if there was a medical cause.
After the update from Lystra, Nugra left the Intel Suite and found Jalana to check on her. As they talked, he quickly discovered that she was not who she appeared to be. As the Gorn confronted “Jalana” she trapped him in an airlock without his badge, voicing regret that he was so nosy. Without it they could have been friends. Her parting gift was to set the airlock to open in less than two minutes. With no time to spare the Gorn first panicked and then tried to contact Engineering to stop the procedure. The Ollos got right on that, but were they on time?
As she left the man to his own devices, Jalana contacted Second Officer LtCmdr Laria Herren who was on the Bridge with one message… it’s time.
It was quickly revealed that “Herren” was working with “Jalana” as she immediately locked out the consoles through a subroutine that was sneakily placed in the system by the 'imposters' and took out a phaser, killing an officer who tried to stop her. With control of the Bridge, it is now up to LtCmdr Atan T’Seva and First Officer LtCmdr Diz’mim Ch’Nilmani to regain control before "Herren" can make good on her plan. Move them out of the way permanently to take over as First Officer at the side of the "Commodore".
Will the crew regain control of the ship? How did these imposters get on board? Tune in next time!
=== Summary September ===
The crew of the USS Constitution-B NCC 3012-B found themselves in way more trouble than they were bargaining for at Hermes outpost, in the South End of Federation Territory near the Tholian border. While the Officers of the Galaxy Class ship still worked hard on getting the outpost fixed, another group of Officers - mostly Security and Counseling, - worked all over the ship to calm down Officers and Civilians alike who were distressed by the news from the Sol System, which reached the Constitution with a substantial delay.
While the rest of the crew dealt with the tense situation, Senior Commander Nugra dealt with what he believed to be his best friend and Commanding Officer of the Constitution, Commodore Rajel, after being informed that she 'acted strange'. He quickly found out that these concerns were founded in Rajel not being Rajel. While the identity was not revealed the fact that she trapped Nugra in an airlock and activated it to shoot him into space was enough proof. After the imposter left the scene of the event, Nugra was able to utilize help and was saved by the Ollos in Engineering.
Meanwhile Lieutenant Junior Grade Lystra and Counselor Ensign Ba'el were joined by Assistant Chief Medical officer Eleanore Park to attempt to figure out if a pathogen was added to the ship's air to make people more aggressive than they usually are. These plans were interrupted when they learned from Nugra over Comms that Jalana was an imposter. While they put together a plan on what to do, Ellie flipped the script and Ba'el and Lystra found themselves on the other side of a phaser, finding proof that Ellie was a changeling as she avoided being grabbed by partially turning into go. Both sides are in progress to attempt to prove that they are who they are to Ensign Terpes Medical/Psychiatrist officer who stumbled across the scene after Ellie returned to solid form.
It appears that on the bridge a whole other plan of attack went off, as Lieutenant Commander Herren sounded red alert across the ship, stating that the First Officer Lieutenant Commander Diz'mim Ch'Nilmani and Chief of Tactical Lieutenant Commander Atan T'Seva were not who they seemed and killed Bridge personnel in an attempt to take over the ship and were now on the run. Security officer Lieutenant junior grade Daniel Cain, Ensign Jiroo Zaka and Ensign Rachel Flores are currently one of the teams on the lookout for the assumed mutineers.
On Hermes station repairs continue, though Lieutenant Mingxing Shimisi became suspicious after a call he had made to the Constitution Bridge, which was taken by Herren, who appeared to be in the middle of a fire fight and told him to inform Chief Engineer Lida and Hermes Outpost Commanding Officer Va Remy of what was happening. He went to report to both attempting to secretly scan them to see if his suspicions are correct.
Security team Lt. Commander Akeelah D'Sena, Cadet Dinaes and Lieutenant Gorak concluded that no hostile forces had beamed to Hermes outpost, but they found a foreign looking crystal reminiscent of Tholian technology, presumably data storage. The team dislodged the item from its location and returned to the Constitution to analyze it.
Are there more imposters on the Constitution? Will they succeed in their plan of take over - if that is what they want? Will the Conny crew be able to regain control? And are there more imposters among them nobody suspects yet?
=== Summary October/November ===
While things seemed calm and collected for repairs of Hermes station near the Tholian border, that image of peace and unity was a total illusion. While the Constitution Crew continued with the repairs of Hermes Station, and the teams on the Constitution equally continued to calm down crew members upset by the news from the Frontier Day celebrations, quietly in the background different actions transpired that bit by bit pushed into the public eye.
Intel Officer and Gorn Exchange Officer Nugra had a heart to heart with his best friend Commodore Jalana Rajel, when he finally found himself trapped in an airlock with his bestie standing on the outside pushing the button to get rid of him. Luckily that was not successful thanks to the fast thinking of the haggle of Ollos in Engineering. One of the copies sacrificed himself to save the Gorn, who then had his very own reason to re-enact 'V for Vendetta'. Not only to find the imposter who dared to take on the shape of his BFF but to find the original. Intel Officer T'Mar joined him in this endeavour stringing along another very shocked and traumatized Ollo who had just lost a part of himself, quite literally. For that they broke into the Second Officer's Office, who also happens to be a Mission Specialist with a bunch of access they found quite handy, and began scanning the Hermes Outpost? Why? Because it seemed like a logical choice of location to hide the Commodore, and the realisation that she started to act all weird after returning from her trip to the surface.
While that team was working hard on finding their Mama Bear, there was more chaos all through the ship. Lieutenant Lystra, Ensign Ba'el and Lieutenant Park made their way through the ship to calm down agitated and distressed crew members when they were informed by the aforementioned Intel pair about their finding of the Commodore not being herself. After that revelation both Lystra and Ba'el got their mind blown by finding out that Park was one of the imposters as well. They were surprised by Terpes right after and were trapped in location by raising gravity. Security Officer D'Sena was called to join and find out who was the imposter as both parties accused each other. As park was too eager for a blood test, the Commander decided on using a phaser sweep as suggested by Ba'el, following Dominion measures. With the sweep it was revealed that Park indeed was something else, though the reaction was different from expected. Park did not turn into goo, but merely bubbled a little out of shape before going back to her Park self, though displaying some burning damage from the sweep. If she was a changeling, it was an evolved kind, but D'Sena kept the option open that it was a whole different species altogether. Lystra was put on duty to sweep the ship for imposters, especially Jalana. Ba'el and Terpes were sent out to check on another team that had sent a distress call earlier, while she would bring Park to the brig.
Once in the brig Akeelah managed to get some information of Fake park, among others that they changelings were not in kahootz with the pirates, but also that there were at least five Changelings in that group if not more. When confronted with what could possibly happen to the Ellie Changeling after all this was over, she became more willing to cooperate. But would that be enough to get away with her life?
After Lieutenant Commander Herren sent her message that the First Officer Diz'mim Ch'Nilmani and Atan T'Seva are imposters and have killed two officers on the bridge, the pair was on the run to find a way to prove their innocence. That way lead them to the Counseling offices in search of the telepathic help of Zeylinn, though couldn't find her. Instead they were surprised by a security team who had deducted that was what they were going to do. Only a moment after they were joined by Ba'el and Terpes as well whose way had lead to the offices as the officer in distress had been Zeylinn who as we know by now was not in her office. Quite a demand on one person. After a long round of each proving they were not a changeling through phaser sweeps, the teams decided to split up to get the ship back. Just in time to hear another Herren announcement that begged the mutineers to stop because the pirates were on their way back for another battle round. She claimed that the mutineers had locked control of the ship so neither she nor Ch'Nilmani could control the ship against said pirates. Now if you wonder how Ch'Nilmani can be trying to help Herren to regain control and be a mutineer at the same time, don't worry our heroes wondered the same and deducted that he clearly was not a mutineer but that Herren must be fake too. So they went on with the split: T'Seva, Flores and Ba'el made their way to Engineering to find ways to regain controls of the ship, while Ch'Nilmani, Cain and Terpes headed to the bridge trying to get access.
The very popular Zeylinn meanwhile was with Torrel and Rendov Felbri of OPS trying to find Azura Ada to inform her of the issues. Since localisation systems were offline and their calls went unanswered they tried to figure out another way. That other way was Queen, the wife of Lazarus Davis. As we may recall Azura switched places with him, through a science experiment and in her world Queen was also her wife. Using that complicated relationship, they found Queen who agreed to call her, but also didn't go through.
Meanwhile Commander Azura Ada took it onto herself to find out if the Officers returning to the ship before were still who they said they were and with transporter recordings, reconstructed body samples and some experimentation she discovered that both Herren and Rajel were indeed changelings and announced her findings to the ship. That also solved the dilemma of the aforementioned team, at least knowing she was alive and aware of what was going on.
At the same time Lystra decided to set a trap for our changelings. Together with Cadet Dinaes of Security she planted herself in the Lower Computer Core and announced to the ship that she would be restoring the localisation systems that had been disabled by Herren before. That would allow our heroes to localize our imposters too and obviously the changelings couldn't allow that. Hearing the message transmitted across the ship channels, Herren got on the move. Knowing her identity was compromised she changed form into that of one of the board children, Rol'Q, and headed straight to the Lower Computer Core where she managed to trick Dinaes into believing she really was the child while Lystra did not believe it for a second. She opened her comms to transmit what transpired next to the whole ship. She at first attempted to verbally convince the changeling to give up but that went as well as expected so a firefight broke out, and the whole ship was witness.
One of the teams was Nugra and T'Mar, who had meanwhile found locations in the outpost that sensors could not penetrate. They deemed it to be good locations to hide kidnapped Commodores and then picked up a pattern in the electric currents in the outpost as well. They were joined by the newly returned Yito Seja who had a look at the pattern and discovered it was a message "SOS TRILLS". Plural, oh my. While the team made plans to check that out, the firefight transmission put a dampener into that. They contacted Felbri who was still with Queen and sent his team to the outpost as it was less suspicious to send OPS officers down there. So while they would go check the locations, Nugra, T'Mar and Yito headed out to give backup to Lystra.
And that was necessary because the changeling in Rol'Q form had knocked out Dinaes real good and did not give in one bit to Lystra's words or shooting. On the contrary the changeling returned that fire and hit our heroine badly. They came in time to attempt to subdue her when Lystra remembered how they had disabled Park before. Passing that on to T'Mar the Vulcan of Intel raised gravity in the section and practically slammed Rol'Q and Lystra into the ground. Fake Rol'Q was anything but happy. Just then the ship shook as they were hit by an attacking ship - anyone forgot that the pirates were on their way back? The pirates certainly didn't. And "Rol'Q" didn't either, he was just surprised that the ship didn't get blown up by that attack. After all that changeling had disabled weapons and shields so the pirates could destroy the Conny. Because if they can't have it, nobody can! In a last ditch effort the changeling changed into a very haunted form of Jalana Rajel herself, to initiate a self destruct. But guess what. Starfleet has protections for that and needing the confirmation of the First Officer put a dampener on that plan too. So that would make two changelings out of action. Progress!
But how did the crew manage to raise the shields you ask? Flores, T'Seva and Ba'el found out that the systems were not available to them no matter how much they would try, because the programming used to achieve that was completely new and added by the changelings. Nobody but Herren or Rajel would be able to unlock that and those were not around. So what would the nifty Engineer do? No, not giving up. Our team in Engineering decided to build a new computer core. Working together with other engineers the weapon and defense systems were unlinked from the regular core and taken over by the makeshift version that Flores and Co could then utilize. So shields were back and weapons at the ready, just in time for the attack.
While the ship was in orbit it was in a holding pattern just floating around the planet, which was a bad idea when being target for a group of pirate ships. Since they couldn't regain control of the flight system, Flores and Kapoor of OPS came up with a plan. That plan would involve beaming hazardous material into the ship's flight path so the automated system would detect the danger and avoid it, hence being steered. Kapoor prepared all the material she could find in the cargo bays and handed control over the beaming process to the bridge who would have a better eye on where they were going thanks to their view screen.
Not aware of the latest developments other than the ship wide messages, was the changeling formerly in the shape of Jalana. As their identity had been busted they had taken on another form as well, who then had broken into the quarters of the Atan family and taken the child named Lera as a hostage to put pressure on the adults of the family. What they had not expected as the early return of the mother who would most definitely not like what she'd see as soon as she would open the door...
Meanwhile on Hermes outpost Engineers Minxing Shimisi and Mylas Bosko hotfixed COMMs of the outpost itself and then had their very own run in with a changeling - yep another one. This one had taken form of the Chief of Engineering Lida, who was now fed up that everyone on the ship had their fun in their high positions and she had to be down there in the outpost doing actual work. Well she actually said that out loud which blew her cover. Another fire fight broke out but that was not transmitted, luckily. Another stroke of luck was that Bosko has a fancy piece of jewellery that emits some current that put Lida into a puddle that was easily contained in a vessel.
Only moments later they were joined by Felbri, Zeylinn and Torrel informing them about the blind spots in the outpost and they went off to see the wizard... wrong movie... off to check those spots out with high hopes that the Commodore was actually down there somewhere.
And with the pirates now having arrived and ready to blow up the Conny, that would be most fortunate, because the crew really could use getting control of the ship back! Let's hope they make it!

The call for help

Captain Va Remy: Commander, we request immediate assistance. We are receiving reports of several attacks along the border. There have been reports of issues with pirates near the border in the past. Please help us. We are a small outpost, but our work.. I believe it’s only a matter of time before they target us. We will hold them off as long as we can.

Officer: Captain, they are shooting at the Communications rela– The last thing Akeelah saw was the Captain’s hand come down as if to slam it down but before it reached the destination the screen went blank. [1]

Hermes Station Information

Hermes Station (often colloquially referred to as the Hermes Outpost) is located in a small system about 20 Lightyears South of Cait. It had some fixed weapons that were destroyed in the initial attack. The station is mostly ground-based on the only M-class planet in the system, the planet is small - just so a planet.

Act 1

While on shore leave the USS Constitution receives a call for help from the Commanding Officer of the Hermes Outpost. Captain Ve mentions reports of pirate attacks along the border that divides the Federation and Tholian space in the recent months. The call is interrupted after the station's communications relay is attacked and the Constitution jumps into action. Upon arrival they witness several ships attacking the orbital installations and the Outpost itself and engage into battle. [2]
After a heated battle in which part of the outpost was destroyed and the Constitution hit with heavy fire, the constitution utilized the Wild Weasel method of using a shuttle and stuff with with emitters that would signal to be a Galaxy Class Starship to aid the Constituion. They filled said shuttle with explosives. Once the Pirate ship discovered the other 'Galaxy Class ship' they opened fire on it and it crashed into them, exploding and causing considerable damage. The Pirates were affected enough by the battle and decided to retreat. Once they were gone the Conny began its own repairs while Jalana transported to the station with a first survey team to assess the situation.

Act 2

After being delayed the Transmission from the Sol System displaying the Frontier Day Celebrations finally reaches the Constitution. But something is going wrong and the transmission is being cut short. Nobody is sure what exactly is going on and part of the crew is taking the news badly. Meanwhile the rest of the crew is helping the Conny and Hermes outpost with repairs.

Captain Va Remy, the outpost’s Bajoran CO, reported attacks by suspected pirates along the border and requested assistance. The comm was cut off, however, when the relay they were using was destroyed.

When everyone was back onboard and at their stations, the Conny wasted no time headed for the outpost. They arrived to find the outpost under attack. Commodore Jalana Rajel issued the orders to fire and the battle to protect the outpost began. After the pirates managed to inflict damage to part of the outpost, LtCmdr Atan T'Seva and LtCmdr Diz'Mim Ch'Nilmani worked to devise a way to distract the largest ship. Meanwhile, Lt Mingxing Shimisi and Ensign Jiroo Zaka tried to find a way to beam supplies to the damaged outpost and down in sickbay Doctors Ashra and Park worked to prepare for injuries.

Over in Intel, Cmdr T’Mar, Senior Commander Nugra, LtJG Tann Ilix, and LtCmdr Laria Herren worked to find out more information on who the attackers are.

Week/Hour 2

The battle for the Hermes outpost is in full swing. Small pirate ships continue to attack the orbital installations and have begun to attempt to scratch the Conny's hull, as she has thrown herself in the middle of the attacking vessels in an attempt to give the outpost a breather from the pressure of continuous attacks.

Ensign Jiroo Zaka, the new engineering officer found that the structural damage of the outpost was severe and they were already on backup power. did not believe the Shields would be lasting much longer and suggested beaming teams down to help. Alas the Conny needed those teams themselves to stay in one piece. Instead they opted for aid in form of automated worker drones until a team can be spared.

Minxing Shimisi in engineering has been working on prepping said worker drones to deliver urgent supplies to the station to try and buy it more time.

Based on the data, Lt.JG Lystra and T'Seva are sure that there is a carrier or type of mothership out there supporting the smaller attacking ships and the struggle was trying to find where it is hiding. They didn't have to wait long until that ship showed itself by zapping past the Constitution and opening heavy fire on the Outpost, destroying part of the structure. The Conny crew had to act quickly and First Officer Diz'mim Ch'Nilmani offered a Wild Weasel maneuver. A Shuttle would be equipped with mobile sensor equipment emitting another Galaxy Class signature to confuse enemy sensors into believing that more help had arrived.

After agreement of Commodore Jalana Rajel, he contacted Rachel Flores, in engineering who would prepare the shuttle, and the was expanded on by stuffing the shuttle full of explosives to hand out some BOOM should the pirate ship open fire on the 'Galaxy Class'. That plan worked out well and the Pirate Mothership took considerable damage. We have yet to see if it is enough to chase them away.

Sick bay has been busy preparing for injured, while several teams have been moving out to treat injuries from exploding consoles and other battle damage. Counselor Ba'el meanwhile is trying to find patterns in the attacks from the bridge to find out motives and gaps the Conny could use.

Who is attacking? Why are they so interested in knockout out the Communication Outpost? These are the biggest questions, and the intelligence Department with Laria Herren, Nugra, Ilix, and T'Mar are trying to find that out, so that Jalana has all the pieces to the puzzle!

Week/Hour 3

Our pirate opponents didn't easily let go and gave the crew of the Constitution a run for their latinum. Commodore Jalana Rajel had a great chance to bring out Mama Bear. When the crew witnessed the mothership of the swarm attach the Planetary Outpost Hermes and destroy a section of their compound, Jalana instructed T'Seva to give it all she got, and fire phasers and Torpedos on the pirate ships and attempt low them to smithereens. Naturally the pirates didn't take that laying down and returned the favor with attacking the outpost and the Constitution with high yield quantum torpedos.

The attacks naturally caused a lot of issues all over the ship and Medical was called to various places all over the ship to treat injured, because these consoles decided it was a good idea to stop working with fireworks. In people's faces. While Engineering barely was able to keep up with fixing all the small issues the battle brought with it, Mingxing Shimisi discovered a Tachyon leak and energy fluctuations. At his attempt to fix that, the discharge entered his body and knocked him out cold. Maybe that saved him from being in the way of the exploding console next to him that hit the Caitian Engineer S'Rrrell.

Intel attempted to figure out who the attacker may be, but the ship design was unknown to them, as well as to the Bridge crew. It was all a mystery to them until during the last minutes the Bridge crew witnessed smaller ships attempt to create a Tholian web. Luckily that scheme was interrupted as the Mothership fell for the Weasel tactic and shot on the shuttle that emitted the fake Galaxy Class signature. The ship, packed with explosives blew up as it crashes into the ship's walls causing considerable damage to the shields and the ship.

That was enough for the pirates to collect their little ships and get out of the system. Lystra caught a transporter signal before the ships were gone and Security teams were dispatched to make sure no boarding party had been dispatched by the pirates.

While Diz'mim Ch'Nilmani oversees the repairs on the Constitution, Commodore Rajel grabbed a team for a first survey of the Hermes outpost. Since comms of the outpost are down the team beamed down to get a first overview. To say that they need 'everything' would be an understatement. The witnessed attack destroyed a whole section of the station, how many fatalities they carried away is yet unknown. The Comm systems, internal and external are destroyed, contact was lost to all orbital relays and stations, most of them because they were destroyed or badly damaged in the attack. The only saving grace is that the outpost was built on a class M planetoid and the spotty shields do not cause a problem with the oxygen supply.

Engineering Officer Jiroo Zaka is working on determining the extend of the damage, what materials and how many teams they would need to assist the outpost. Assistant Medical Chief Ellie Park is exploring the outpost trying to get an overview of how many injured they may have, and assess the situation, transport paths and access to the medical facilities. Second officer Laria Herren and Commodore Rajel are conferring with Captain Va Remy of Hermes outpost to find out what has happened in the area that may have caused the attack.

Will they find out who these pirates were and why they had come? Can they help the outpost to get back up to their feet? And how will they react when the news about the events in the Sol System finally reach them? Tune back in next time to find out!

Week/Hour 4 (Act 2)

The battle is over and now the crew of the Constitution and the Hermes Outpost can focus on the damage inflicted to both the equipment and the people. Commodore Rajel, Second Officer LtCmdr Laria Herren, Assistant Chief Medical Officer LtJG Ellie Park, and Engineering Officer Ensign Jiroo Zaka beamed down to the outpost and after speaking with one of their Comms officers LtJG Aja, everyone got to work.

Rajel and Herren met with Hermes’ CO Captain Va Remy in her office to discuss the situation and share information. Meanwhile, Zaka returned to the ship to meet with fellow Engineering Officer Lt Mingxing Shimisi, who was injured during the battle, was thankfully cleared to return to duty and the pair met with a so-called “holo” of Ollos and learn that the engineering officer has also been cleared for duty. All duplicated versions of him. The engineering team, including two of the Ollos return to the Hermes to start the repairs.

Due to delays caused by the destroyed Comms the transmission of Frontier Day celebrations reached just after the battle. Some of the crew gathered and watched the footage when the signal suddenly cut out before receiving a quick message from a FNS News Anchor that their studio had lost contact with the Sol Station. While the news network attempted to keep the situation under control, several members of the crew began to worry about their families and friends in the Sol System.

The news began to spread, mostly by the uninformed, and panic took hold of various crew members- some even screaming that everyone in the Sol System was dead. Counselor Ensign Ba'el and Security Trainee LtJG Lystra began making their way through the ship to diffuse the situation. On the bridge, First Officer LtCmdr Diz'Mim Ch'Nilmani is looped in by the Saloon about the situation and reaches out to Rajel to inform her, while some Bridge Officers are taking the news rather badly and had to be called to order.

Meanwhile, Cmdr T’Mar, Senior Commander Nugra, and LtJG Tann Ilix are joined in the Intel Suite by LtCmdr Atan T'Seva and LtCmdr LtCmdr Azura Ada . With their combined efforts, they get closer to answers before also receiving the word about the Sol System.

As the news of the unknown situation begins to spread, how will the crew cope? Will they be able to continue their work on repairs? Will they ever be able to confirm who their attackers were? Tune in next time!

Week/Hour 5 (Act 2)

Week/Hour 6 (Act 2)

Week/Hour 7-9

Summary September
