	Background

Mingxing was born in his home planet, son of a trader and economist and a doctor, he was the third of four kids and he was raised in quite a pleasant life, with some eopisodes of exigence, specially from his mother about his studies to get the best grades he could get.

Over the years, he showed little interest in the job of his mother, and had a tendency to be more interested in his father's job as a trader, more than as a economist. However, this interest changed into acquiring items to “experiment” with them, tearing them apart and putting them back together. When he was a teenager he began learning about computer technology, programing and then making his own modifications to serve his purposes.

As he grew up, he realized that he won't find his future by staying on the planet, so after a few trips to neighboring systems, he was interested in what Starfleet had to offer to his interests in technology and after a few conversations with his parents, he decided he wanted to enlist to Starfleet so he prepared for the tests, but needed three attempts to pass it with enough grade to be accepted in the Academy.

After four years, he became an officer, starting in the Ops position in the night shift of the USS Cervantes, a Norway class starship. After his tour of duty on that ship, he became Lieutenant Jg. And was transferred to the starship USS Hermes, a Nebula class ship under the command of Captain Farel (a Vulcan ) where he was able to develop his skills as he served there as Ops officer but later as engineering officer, gaining the rank of Lieutenant and becoming the chief engineering assistant, taking charge in different situations including away teams and on the ship when the Chief was in away missions.

After a few years of service, the ship was called to Utopia Planitia for a complete overhaul of the ship, so the crew had to be transferred. When a position on the Constitution-B was available, he requested it and the captain of the Hermes wrote a recomendation letter for him to who will be his new CO.

	Personality and Psychology

Mingxing has a stable psique, in part by his nature and in part because of his home planet rules, what makes him good at following orders, but his imagination allowed him to find unusual solutions for problems, that being very useful in his career.

237309.01 - Suffered a mycotic infection in her lower eyes. Prevented the spread to the others and cured using biomycin treatment.

237603.11 - Recovered from a drowning accident at a pool where he was underwater for a minute until he's brought to receive CPR. No signs of brain damage due oxygen deprivation.

237907.19 - Treated fo an open broken bone in his left arm due an accident while playing with friends. Required surgery to return the bone to its proper place, suture and rehabilitation for two weeks to fully recover.

238402.15 - Major trauma to his right feet and three broken ribs, broken riding a Nishtaj (a sort of horse). One of the ribs punctured his left lung so they needed to do surgery to repair the damage. He needed three weeks to recover and rehabilitation for two more weeks to recover full mobility of his leg.

	Habits and mannerism

  He has a tendency to stare when meeting new people. That's because he uses his two main sets of eyes to get a full picture of the person, a general perspective with the lower ones and detailed with the upper ones. This helps to memorize and relate the image with the name and relationship.
  When he's tense, he tends to fidget with something, usually something ins his belt, a piece of equipment or instrument.
  He's very formal while on duty, but know how to relax while off cuty. being more easy going, talking with less formality and engage in social customs other than his own.

	Quarters

  His quarters are located on deck five, section seven. The quarters number is the nineteen. For the moment he has the standard quarters given to a senior officer. Starfleet standard design and furniture. 

	Hobbies

In his free time, aside from tinkering with little machines and other personal projects, he likes to swim and paint. Music is another hobby for him, but he's not as good with tunes than he is tunning equipment.
