Noa’s alternate universe mother gives us intel that the Romulans are trying to create an artificial replica of the Bajoran wormhole in the Chin’toka system, powered by radiation from the system’s sun.
Entering the Chin’toka system, the Astraeus attacks the station. Too large in scale for the Astraeus to attack directly, it instead provides a distraction for the system’s defenses out of range of the station while a shuttle with a strike team sneaks on board to plant a time-delayed explosive / sabotage the station in some other way.
The Astraeus will use the wormhole to get back to our universe moments before the station’s destruction.

Act One

Summary

The ship is pulled into the alternate universe, near a former Federation world (Betazed?) which has been overrun by Romulans. They engage in a small skirmish with Romulan forces. With the ship damaged and unsure of their circumstances, Mei’konda orders them to withdraw and hide until they can regain contact with Starfleet Command.

Act Two

Summary

This would be the act where the crew tracks down whatever device(s) is(are) needed and have various obstacles to overcome. Having been successful in their attempts to contact Starfleet, Command is first suspicious due to Mei’konda’s ship having been reported lost over a year ago (Mei’konda is dead in this timeline).

They eventually come around and believe our alternate universe story, and with us trapped behind enemy lines, ask us to attack a highly important military target that is unreachable to the Starfleet of this universe. Doing so successfully could help to reverse the Federation’s fortunes in the war with the Romulans.

Act Three
