	Relationships

Maddi Hyden Chief of Security, USS Atlantis Lephi first met Maddi when they were at the Academy together. During her second year she was really struggling with her unarmed combat class. Maddi came across Lephi in the courtyard, who was giving herself a supposed pep talk that bordered on self deprecating. The pair quickly became good friends, spending a lot of time at the gym working on combat techniques and getting their frustrations out in a healthy way. Lephi attributes her passing the class almost entirely to Maddi's help.

	Background

Lephi was born in Ferenginar, on Ferenginar, to a moderately successful father and a typical housewife mother. Everything about her childhood had been preparing her to take over her father's businesses, she had the lobes for it, but always found logistics to be a boring field. She found great pleasure instead in tinkering and the salvage business.

	Personality

Though she is a shrewd Ferengi at heart, she has spent enough time around other species to understand the importance of being social. She knows that it's way easier to strike favorable business deals with people who underestimate you, and her welcoming personality helps to lower people's guard. Lephi also has a well-rounded sense of humor, finding a joke in most things.

	Career History

From a young age, she was a freighter captain. She traveled all over the Alpha and Beta quadrants doing business with many species who needed her spare parts, her repair skills, or her salvaging skills. Once she turned 18 and completed the attainment ceremony she applied to Starfleet Academy. Focusing her studies on component engineering and a newfound passion in programming, she completed 60 credit hours to fit in both specializations.
