USS Garuda LOG ENTRIES
- Rank: Lieutenant Junior Grade - Lieutenant
- Duty Post: Chief Medical Officer
- Acting Chief Medical Officer
- Assistant Chief Medical Officer
- Medical Officer
- Commanding Officer: Captain Aron Kells
- Fleet Captain Cassandra Egan Manno
- Stardates: 239106.14 - 239206.19
Assistant Chief Medical Officer’s Log, Stardate 239109.22 Following a mission in the Menthar Corridor, Lt. Commander Alleran Tan collapsed in one of the turbolifts. He is experiencing a case of symbiotic rejection that I do not have any experience with this operation. I have read over reports of previous medical officers, Dr. Crusher and Dr. Bashier, in an effort to understand the procedure. What has me worried is that my Trill specialist, 1st Lieutenant Kesaan, is on the Columbia and is thus unable to help me. I have alerted Starfleet, and the Trill Symbiosis Committee, and XO and CO of my vessel. May I have the strength to not screw this up. |
Acting Chief Medical Officer’s Log, Stardate 239110.05 The transfer of the symbiont into the host Safine Ral was successful. I can do no more for the time being except keep watch and hope for the best for those involved. |
Chief Medical Officer's Log, Supplemental (Stardate 239205.13) I’d heard that the Tholians were xenophobic and reclusive, and hate being lied to. The Romulan makeup itches like no other itching agent I’ve encountered. I also suspect something happened in Counselor Moonsong’s mind with the loss of the Community representatives and their abilities that may have awoken something in my genetic makeup. She went with me and Lt. Commander Delano to an audience with the Tholians. Gallene is thus far the nicest Tholian I’ve met, and the only. Whether our coming clean about our purpose pays off remains to be seen... |
Chief Medical Officer's Log, Supplemental (Stardate 239205.25) We had a mixed string of luck yesterday with the different groups involved in this affair with some interesting results. I’ve made a discovery about the va Wreth that could affect our negotiations, and I am unaware thus far of any developments that Commander Rahman’s team may have uncovered. Only time will tell whether my discovery bears anything useful. For the moment, I’m back on my telepathic inhibitor. We’ll see how I hold up, and hopefully my insights in that manner won’t be needed.. |

USS GORKON LOG ENTRIES
- Rank: Lieutenant Commander
- Duty Post: Chief Medical Officer. See Biography for full history.
- Commanding Officer: Fleet Captain Quinn Reynolds
- Stardates: 239209.03 - 239404.16
First Officer's Log SD 239302.12 I don't know how to explain what happened. We were investigating the nebula NGC 201502. Something pulled us through into an alternate universe where the Dominion has won. We're trapped here, they've been rationing pain medication and we haven't found any way to get home. This Selamderen fellow offered to guide me. If it means what I think it does, then maybe I can get my gift under control. Anything to fix what I did to it on the Columbia. I'll get my gift under control, and we'll get back home to our reality where we belong. I hope. |
First Officer's Log SD 239303.31 I hate it when life repeats itself. |
Personal Log SD Unknown (239307.31) The longer we stay here, the longer the crew around me loses hope. I try to lighten the mood, but my efforts are in vain. Even Commander Blair barely laughs these days. Our once mighty chancellor is falling apart, three systems at a time. I recognize him now as a battle-weary and desperate wariorr willing to perform the Hegh'bat ritual. We've got a block of Swiss cheese to attack with, and we're trying to bite the mouse called DSX in order to obtain a cloaking device which...might not help us get home. If we can somehow manage to re-open a fissure in this reality by attacking the station...just maybe....it can get us home. Stripey thinks the attack could either spell success or death in any language I like. I disagree with him -- there is only success. We all die eventually, but it will not be this day. Murphy's Law states: Anything that can go wrong will go wrong.
End Log. |
SHORE LEAVE
Personal Log, Stardate 239401.01 Computer, begin recording. Only fitting that on the new year I make a statement... Brief interaction with Dr. Uzoamaka produced a couple unexpected revelations. Namely, Stripey’s a helpful nuisance despite his damn annoyingly smarter-than-me moments and the fact that I don’t actually hate counselors -- they just invoke anger because logic and feeling don’t match. End log. |
Personal Log, Stardate 239401.04 Computer, begin recording. Today consisted of a conversation with another Dokkaran who wasn’t Azin to discuss my unique abilities. Such an awakening, which is the name I’ve given it, is physiologically impossible. Bad meld or not. So, the third factor will remain a mystery and I’m the first human in the history of their kind to have this happen. End recording. |
Personal log, Stardate 239401.22 What the hell am I doing? One Purple Heart is a freak accident and some may consider it honorable. Two shouldn't happen to anyone, let alone me. Three, I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy... Going to talk to Dr. Uzoamaka will be interesting, as this will undoubtedly come up given how disturbed I am about it. Hell, I wouldn't blame her for asking the captain not to put me on an away mission again... On an irrelevant side note, I don't write my logs with an accent. End log. |
Personal Log, SD 239402.06 I found a rock. Not the emotional type rock that Alex seems to be, but a smooth, black one I can shove into my pocket and anchor to. I've told Alex some more of my secrets from my colorful past, I've tried to make up for the lost sleep over the purple heart, and I am learning that crowds are not my friend. Maybe I'll get better, one day. End log. |
Chief Medical Officer's Log, SD 239403.14 Start to finish: twelve hours. Fleet Captain Quinn Reynolds is stable. I've worked a share of miracles in my time, but this one tops it all. I pushed aside all negative thoughts to focus on the moment and the task. I ensured her survival on my watch. Some people will call me a miracle worker. Others will call me by my rank. I'll just settle for being called "doctor." End log. |
USS VERITAS LOG ENTRIES
- Rank: Lieutenant - Lieutenant Commander
- Duty Post: See Biography for full history.
- Chief Medical Officer - Present
- Medical Officer
- Commanding Officer: Captain Roshanara Rahman
- Stardates: 239407.06 - Present
Personal Log, SD 239408.09 Welcome back to the Invicta. Okay, Veritas, but most of the faces are familiar. It's more or less the same crew, just on a different ship. I've changed, they've undoubtedly changed, and my first few days back Murphy decides to pick on me again. One person on this ship will likely not be happy to see me due to past shenanigans on the Excalibur. Still need to check in with Mei'konda, still need to get my room assignment sorted, still need to set up an appointment with Ris, still need to pay a social call to a few people. Oh, and Murphy: shove off. |
Personal Log, SD 239410.31 Ever had to work outside your element? Here I am, working on an engineering project. Lt. Greyson makes some crack about me in a gold uniform, then I'm suddenly reminded of when I was teasing Alex about wearing teal. Alex replied "If that ever happens, run away." I guess I can't make the same joke about gold, but here's hoping I don't amputate a crucial system off my patient, Prospero. I wonder if I'll be needing to find all my engineering PADDs from the academy just to keep up with Alex. I also wonder if I can get away with dressing up as an engineer for the Halloween party. |
SHORE LEAVE
Personal Log SD 239509.03 Transfers are a way of life in Starfleet. I understand that and have more or less come to grips with it. We got lucky when our transfers to the Za coincided within a week of each other. We were luckier still when all 3 of us transferred us to the Veritas after the recall of the former. Now, many months later, Alex is being offered a chance at being the first officer of another vessel, far away from me. It saddens me greatly to see him go, but it's a fantastic opportunity. I have faith we will be reunited on the bridge of his own command. I do not presume to know the lord's will. I believe, which I hope is enough to influence Him to favor us. |
USS Montreal LOG ENTRIES
- Rank: Lieutenant Commander
- Duty Post: Chief Medical Officer
- Commanding Officer: Commander Mei'konda Delano
- Stardates: 239510.31 - Present
Chief Medical Officer’s Log, SD 239510.31 Another day, another sickbay. Quite literally, as I go straight from the Veritas’ sickbay to the Montreal’s. Their previous CMO was killed in a fight against the Tholians, the Montreal’s former captain is in the Veritas sickbay, and Commander Mei’konda Delano asked me to fill in until further notice. As long as this position isn’t cursed, I will serve in it to the best of my capacity. |
Personal Log Stardate 239602.26 Another day in a hectic plague outbreak as I come to grips with the many mistakes I've made over the course of my career. Maybe the great plan for me is not to be a medical officer forever, much less be chief. I don't handle crises well. The captain saw me freeze. I am haunted by my mistakes both past and present.
