	Backstory

Scotty was born on Stardate 236610.29 to Felix and Amelia Reade. Scotty had one younger brother Sam which was born 5 years later. Scotty and his brother have always had a strong bond with each other.

Scotty was born into a Starfleet family. His dad was the Chief Engineer aboard the USS Columbia (NCC-5959) for over 2 decades before being honorably discharged from Starfleet due to the injuries sustained in the Battle of Sector 335. Scotty wanted to keep the family tradition of joining Starfleet.

Before being accepted into Starfleet Academy, Scotty was studying Electrical Engineering. He took this knowledge and applied for Starfleet under Engineering. He decided to major in Propulsion while at the academy.

He is a quick thinker and loves getting to know people. He always passionate about what he does and he always tries to complete what is assigned to him. Any of his friends will say if they ever need help, Scotty is always there no matter the issue or time of day.

Before joining Starfleet, Scotty achieved a Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering from MIT.
