Personal History

Born and raised in Lawrence Kansas, to two looving parents, he had a fairly average, He wasn't ever in any serious trouble at home or school, but neither was he saint he got into the usual trouble, a minooro charge for Graffiti, breaking curfew, things like that. He excelled at sports and throughout his school life would often be fount representing his school in thier Little league team or thier Football team the later was more in High School as a result, his academic subjects suffered.

when he left school he was offered a scholarship, he thought this through long and hard and was about to accept, but forgot to post the acceptance letter before he spent a few weeks in Peru and when he returned, he had really caught the exploration bug and decided instead to apply for Starfleet, he wasn't exceptionally skilled at anything and he knew he wouldn't be able to get by just on his sporting achievements alone.

He looked at all the options available to him (these were limited) and he opted to learn operations, he wasn't top of the class with this and he thought he would rather just drop out then knuckle down and improve, he joined the football team and made friends with a couple of Pilots, after hearing how they enjoyed flying he thoought he would learn to fly also, he took lessons but his dad said he would only pay for private lessons if his results improved,.

By the time he was middle of the way through his second year he gained his Pilots licence, and also fount he had finally managed to start doing well in his studies, always looking for a challenge he thought he would learn a couple of alien languages, he didn't need to but he wanted to.
