Uniforms
Starfleet officers assigned to Amity Outpost wear uniforms displaying the color of their division:
- Command (Red) - CO, XO, Diplomacy, Helm
- Operations (Gold) - Ops, Engineering, Security/Tactical
- Sciences (Blue) - Science, Medical, Counseling
The Starfleet combadge and uniform worn on Amity Outpost is the standard duty uniform introduced in the 2400s - though Starfleet has instituted the uniform rollout gradually through 2400, so it is not uncommon to see officers still donning standard 2390's-era uniforms as well.

Wil’s home has always been Fremantle, but he attended junior school in Beijing, the Oceanic Regional Middle School in Auckland, New Zealand, and the Dr. Andy Thomas Senior School in Sydney, Australia.
He is close to his mother Stacey, and from a young age wanted to join Starfleet to be like his Mother. Throughout his life, he spent much of his time pulling apart and putting back together all manner of technology and reverse engineering software systems, which is how he came to have a technical mind. He also spent a lot of time at his grandparent’s winery - he has a great relationship with them, especially with Astrad.
Before joining Starfleet Academy, Wil took a "gap year" (that ended up being almost two years), which is why he was slightly older than other cadets.

- Duty Post: Chief Counselor & Second Officer
- Age/Species/Sex: 46-year-old Human Male
- Birthplace: Kansas City, Kansas
Early on, John was an avid reader, and he pretty much read whatever he could lay his hands on. His thirst for reading led him to languages and he learned several languages, including Romulan, Klingon (two dialects), Vulcan and a little bit of Ferengi.
His love of the spoken word took him to the University of Kansas, where he majored in both Linguistics and Psychology, graduating in 2376. On the advice of his mother and father, he went to college first before attending Starfleet Academy, where he majored in Counseling and Communications. He always had a drive to talk to other races which inhabited the Federation, and he always had a drive to see what was over the next hill, find the next new sentient race, learn their language and teach them his. His parents made sure they kept him out of the Dominion War by having him go to college first before going to the Academy.
Graduating in 2380, Johns’ first assignment was at Starbase 375, where he was assigned to the Counselors’ Office, where he was one of ten on the staff. In late 2398, John was assigned to Amity Station, an assignment he requested because of the opportunity to meet and converse with new races in the Delta quadrant and hopefully help the Federation and Starfleet make a few new friends, and strengthen old ties. It is an assignment he is looking forward to.

Lieutenant JG Nathan Richards
|
|
|
- Rank: Lieutenant JG
- Duty Post: Engineering Officer
- Age/Species/Sex: 31-year-old Human Male
- Birthplace: Bigfork, Montana
Nathan was born in Bigfork, Montana to Jennifer and Patrick Richards. The Richards family had taken on the duty of maintaining and protecting what remained of the Glacier National Park over the past 150 years. Spending lots of time in the National Park, Nathan developed exceptional survival skills and discovered his love for engineering while working on the autonomous park equipment and containment facilities. After many years, Nathan decided he wanted to be part of something more than just another ‘park ranger,’ as they used to be called, and enlisted into starfleet.
Nathan has always been a bit of a free spirit. A people pleaser. Going out of his way to make sure those he cared about were happy and taken care of. With an almost overwhelmingly positive personality, and a sometimes dark sense of humor, Nathan has never seemed to have an issue getting along with anyone he has come across.

Lt. Commander Cassian Iovianus
|
|
|
- Rank: Lt. Commander
- Duty Post: Chief of Security
- Age/Species/Sex: 43-year-old Magna Roman Male
- Birthplace: Gramen Urb, Septentriones Vineam Province, Magna Roma
Born in the Septentriones Vineam province to the regional governor Sabina Virgnia and her husband Aldric Kuno, Cassian was nearly raised in the military. Being born into such a station he had a strict upbringing, spending more time with his noncitizen father going over strategies at every possible chance, even the games that young Cassian played had an eye toward strategy and skill more than luck in their outcome.
Graduating from the academy he got himself assigned to the USS Quirinal rising to the rank of Lieutenant Commander and Chief of Security and Tactical services on board. That was until Starfleet selected him to fill in as the XO on the USS Juneau which needed a temporary replacement to fill in. While inwardly reserved Cassian was excited for the attempt at advancing his career to the next stage.
His time on the Juneau was short lived though as he found the opportunity presented by the opening of Amity Station too much to pass up. Even if it did require a return to his familiar position of Chief of Security he jumped at the opportunity to return to the frontier. While on leave to prepare for the launch of Amity he returned to the home world and had a chance to invest with a childhood friend in his winery that he had taken over from his parents.

- Rank: Lieutenant JG
- Duty Post: Security Officer
- Age/Species/Sex: 26-year-old Human / Klingon Hybrid Female
- Birthplace: Campbelltown, NSW, Australia
Rebecca, or Bec as she is known to most people (if not all) grew up on Earth in a small town known as Campbelltown near Sydney, Australia, as the youngest of 4 with three older human-hybrid stepbrothers.
Bec applied for and was accepted into Starfleet Academy in 2393, however, she had to retake her first year due to failing, not one, but several subjects. Bec took basic classes in engineering, security and Medical, not yet quite sure which direction she would head into. That year's results were clear, as both engineering and medical ended up coming back with atrocious grades, despite her studying efforts. She continued in security for the rest of her academy days. Bec didn't have many friends at the academy, as she was mainly found studying or catching up on last-minute work, determined not to let her chance at being a Starfleet officer float away in the wind. When she got to Amity she found everyone clearly already forming friendships and acquaintances but found it surprisingly easy to scoot into those groups and determine her small corner of mates. She never thinks too much about climbing the ranks - other than getting out of the Academy.
While at Amity she has discovered many things about her family, including her mother's Betazoid heritage. This fact when initially given made Bec feel rather confused, and after more thought fueled the anger she already had for her maternal ancestor. She also met her father, who was absent from her childhood and there is tension in the relationship. She's also struggled with emotional effects after each mission but is quite grateful for her support system of many friends and the many people she has named her brothers.

- Age/Species/Sex: 25-year-old El-Aurian / Human Hybrid Male
- Birthplace: Earth
Born into a Starfleet family, Kaito's father commanded an older Excelsior-class starship, and his mother served as the CMO of the same vessel during the war. Katio Moore can be easily defined as a post-Dominion War baby—one of many born after that terrible war. Still, he does not let that define him.
However, he wasn't initially certain about Starfleet. Growing up, he always felt overshadowed by his sister. She was the family's overachiever—not perfect, but seemingly close. Her being six years older than him compounded this feeling. At the same time, both of his parents were in Starfleet, and when Nora was old enough, she also enrolled, graduating with a double major. Moore wanted to ensure that his decision to join Starfleet was his own and not influenced by his family, both biological and the officers and enlisted personnel he considered family too. After some disagreements with his mother and initial push-back but eventual encouragement from his father, he was allowed to leave the ship at seventeen, as soon as he finished his secondary school studies, to venture out into the stars. His only orders were to report back occasionally, not get into too much trouble (as his father told him quietly), stay safe, and strive to leave the galaxy a better place.
Of course, the first thing he did was to book passage on the shadiest civilian transport he could find, aiming to head as far away from the Federation core worlds as possible. He wanted to understand life both within and outside Starfleet's influence. During his two years of travel, he grew to appreciate the importance of Starfleet and the Federation and the freedoms they brought to hundreds of worlds and countless lives. By the end of his journey in 2396, he was ready to enlist in Starfleet to satisfy his wanderlust and help make the galaxy a better place, albeit now with a few new habits and quirks. In 2400, he graduated with a Master's degree in Tactical Operations and minors in Navigation and Security, with sufficient credits to qualify for Operations as well.

- Rank: Lieutenant
- Duty Post: Chief Science Officer
- Age/Species/Sex: 29-year-old Human / Centauran Hybrid Female
- Birthplace: Theta VII
Dr. Robin Hopper is a Human/Centauran Lieutenant serving as Chief Science Officer aboard Amity Outpost. She was previously posted aboard the deep space science vessel, USS Wall Street. She grew up on the 'old frontier' world, Theta VII, on her parents' hydroponic farm estate.
She completed her undergraduate studies at UC Berkeley, then went on to complete her masters in Physics. After six years studying physics in California, it was hard to ignore the call of Starfleet. She applied for the Academy on a whim, submitting an application to complete her PhD studies that she never expected to be accepted. Much to her surprise, she was accepted.
Robin’s first posting was aboard the Oracle Class USS Wall Street under the command of Captain Sh'Torn. There, she learned quickly, amidst a crew of dedicated scientific minds. Her genial personality and enthusiasm earned her a spot on the ship’s coveted ‘day shift’ where she would be able to work closely with the vessel’s Chief Science Officer, Trisha Montgomery. Under Montgomery’s tutelage, it wasn’t long before Robin achieved the rank of Lieutenant and took on a role as a Computer Science Specialist.
When news of Amity Outpost’s establishment in the Delta Quadrant reached Robin’s ears, she felt immediately drawn to the distant and exciting deep space station. Excited at the prospect, and with Chief Science Officer Montgomery’s recommendation on her file, Robin requested a transfer to Amity Outpost in early 2399.

- Age/Species/Sex: 28-year-old Klingon Male
- Birthplace: Unknown (Raised in Honolulu, Hawaii)
Ikaia Wong doesn’t know his bio parents and never grew up in a Klingon family or surrounded by Klingon culture. Instead he was adopted by the Wongs, his human family. The middle child of three children, Ikaia grew up surrounded by a loving family in Honolulu. He was a quiet and curious child who was interested in the world around him and why it was the way it was. He often liked exploring Hawaii’s many beaches or visiting his Aunt Niko’s alpaca farm on Moloka’i where he would eventually work during the summers in his teens. Eventually, he would follow his mother, a doctor and lifelong influence, into Starfleet to pursue medicine.
After serving aboard the USS Veritas, Ikaia Wong is looking forward to his new posting at the Amity Outpost as the Chief Medical Officer. He has currently earned his Emergency Medicine Fellowship with the Starfleet Medical Academy.
Ikaia is generally a friendly, polite and affable sort of person who cares deeply for those around him and under his care. He is a driven individual who is willing to sacrifice himself in order to protect a patient. Although, Ikaia does have a nervous streak to him.

- Age/Species/Sex: 26-year-old Trill Female
- Birthplace: USS Musashi
Cara Tenors was born aboard the USS Musashi, a Galaxy class starship, to her loving parents Jolana and Tendall. Growing up onboard the Musashi until her father's retirement from Starfleet, Cara was always excited to eventually join Starfleet one day. Proceeding through most of her education rather quiet and reserved, just going through the motions until she got to her secondary schooling. Here Cara would grow out of her shell and start to explore more into who she really wanted to be.
Halfway through her final year of schooling, Cara was accepted into Starfleet Academy as an undeclared major. Deciding the engineering courses weren't worth the Operations major, Cara would decide on a Sciences Major with a Minor in Security at the end of year 2. By the end of her time at the Academy Cara would be accepted into the Trill Initiate Program with special exceptions to attend the initiate program before attending her cadet cruise. The Trill Initiate Program pushed Cara to her absolute limit, but she was one of the 5% who actually passed. After another few months on Trill, Cara would receive the Veers Symbiont, taking another three to get used to having a Trill Symbiont and their memories as part of herself. Once deemed fit by the Symbiosis Committee, Cara would receive her cadet cruise duty orders to Starbase 118 and the USS Centris-A.

- Rank: Ensign
- Duty Post: Medical Officer
- Age/Species/Sex: 30-year-old Bolian Female
- Birthplace: Bolarus IX
Olidra was born on Bolarus IX. Her father was an architect, her mother was a professor. Both her parents had done well in life, and Olidra always felt she had to live up to them. She once witnessed a mission done by Starfleet officers and she was in awe of the way they handled the situation. It was this, more than anything, that made her decide to join Starfleet. Not only to impress her parents but also to accomplish something and to become useful. Her parents were against Olidra joining Starfleet at first. They felt Olidra could contribute much more to Bolian society by becoming a scholar or a teacher. In the end, her parents agreed to let her go to the academy.
Olidra loved the academic parts of the academy, studying and reading and learning were things she was good at. She didn't care too much for the practical side of things.
She was just about to quit the academy when she came in contact with a professor in xenobiology. This professor was a true mentor to her and he coached her during the more difficult parts of the academy. In the end, maybe because of the professor, she realized she liked medicine. She realized that by becoming a doctor people would come to her, rather than she having to go to them. She also liked the challenging puzzles it brought, solving mysteries.

- Duty Post: Medical Officer / Scientist
- Age/Species/Sex: 28-year-old Human / Al-Leyan Hybrid Male
- Birthplace: Sez Toural, Leya-I
Harrison Kiani was born bearing the name Laime Pergalen on the auspicious day of the "Komunceco Vivo" (Communion with Life) , marking the end of winter and beginning of spring. Or at least that was what it said on his birth certificate. One that had been flagged by Starfleet Academy's Division of Health Sciences when applying for their Medical programme. The situation was quickly resolved, with the admissions office opting not to take the issue further once provided with correctly authenticated Federation documents noting the change. The memories of Leya-I still stuck to him, but they were just flashes of recognition now, hidden in the deep recesses of the mind. The scent of wood and wet grass, the spacious home highlighted with beige and gold accents, the lush green patio on which to run and be wild. But he was sure there had been no name other than "Harry" to respond to. Perhaps "Harrison" when he was in trouble, but not "Liam" or "Laime" or however it was meant to be pronounced.
When Harry was back in Tarola'n for Summer break, just before he'd have to start his clinical rotations, they'd decided to throw a little get together of friends and family in appreciation of all he'd achieved. At dinner that day, his mother told a story about when Harry was twelve. It was one she'd liked to recount often. His parents had decided to sit him down and ask what he wanted to be when he grew up. A doctor Harry answered. When asked why, he'd say with a face that was as serious and as sage as a twelve year old's could be, that he "wanted to make people feel okay." There was a gleam of pride in her eye whenever she told that story, and Harry knew she thought the world of him. He could only hope that he managed to live up to it.
