The Trinity Sector (coordinates B-0005-1300) is also sometimes called Sector 118. This region is of major strategic importance, and is shared between the three major powers of the Beta Quadrant. The sector name comes from the presence of these three major powers which are; the Federation, Romulan Star Empire and Klingon Empire.

One edge of the sector is dominated by the Azure Nebula, which extends into the Acamar Sector. The "bottom" of the sector is bordered by the Jenatris Cloud, which rests just outside Federation jurisdiction. On the far side of the Cloud, through the Jenatris Corridor, is the Par'tha Expanse.

The Federation maintains an active starbase along with a small fleet in the region but the other two major powers also maintain a heavy presence in their part of this sector as well.

Federation landmarks

Starbase 118

This Federation starbase is a Trojan class II spacedock, and is home to a monitor fleet of vessels.

Epsilon Outpost # 11

Prior to the signing of the Khitomer Accords, this was a military outpost in charge of first-eye defense on the Klingon border. Now, it is used as a listening post.

Azure System

The system has 2 gas giants and 2 planets. Azure III is a barren planet where a few clans of Gatherers, nomadic members of the Acamarian race have established a base.

Cart'hen System

It has 4 planets and an asteroid belt. Of those planets, only Cart'hen III appear to be occupied. It is a desert world with a pre-warp population of approximately 600,000. At one time it was a part of the Klingon Empire. It still has a minor Klingon presence and over 30 different races.

Gamma Taboa System

This system only has 1 barren planet but it also has 2 huge asteroid belts plus hundreds of thousands of outlaw asteroids that are orbiting outside of the asteroid belts.

Miri System

Miri IV has a population of 500,000. Founded as a earth colony it was almost wiped out. It now houses a number of races and has requested membership into the Federation.

New Scotland System

It has 4 planets and an asteroid belt. Of those planets, only New Scotland I appears to be occupied. It is a earth like world with a human colony from earth with a population of approximately 36,936,000. It is a member of the Federation.

Raskor System

It is the closest system to the base and is a frequent vacation destination for people in this sector. It has 5 planets. Raskor I has a native population of 12 billion. This world is a member of the Federation.

Roth System

It has 4 planets and 2 asteroid belts. Roth II has a native population of 86 million.

Sigma Corvi System

This system is considered a danger to stellar navigation due to as yet unknown and or unusual stellar conditions that have resulted in the loss of at least 17 know space craft. This system has no known planets, but long range scans and scientific study seems to indicate that was not always the case. It is unknown at this time what destroyed these planets.

X'lar System

It has 2 planets, both with no atmosphere.

Klingon landmarks

Age'Beg System

It has 3 planetary bodies of which one is a icy rock ball, one is hot rock ball and the third is a terrestial type planet capable of sustaining life. Their is a Klingon colony on the second planet which is mostly covered with water. There are also 2 asteroid belts in this system.

Biv'ok System

This system has 1 small gas giant, 3 rock ball like planets and one terresterial world with evidence of an extinct culture in the form of extensive stone construction.

Crin-Lok System

This system has a large gas giant and a hostile greenhouse planet as well as an asteroid belt. One of the moons in orbit of the gas giant has been converted into a maximum security prison.

EjDo' System

This system has 3 rock ball planets, a medium gas giant and a greenhouse planet as well as 2 asteroid belts.

H'Atoria System

This system has 2 asteroid belts, a rock ball planet, a medium gas giant and 1 class M planet which has a small Klingon colony of approximately 28 million. In orbit over the colony is a large military starbase and a orbiting repair facility.

Ja'Meal System

This system has a large gas giant, 2 rock ball planets and a Class M planet with dense forests and numerous predators as well as a asteroid belt.

Kan'da'har System

This system is fairly small with a Class M planet and a medium gas giant.

Kan'da'har has a military training base and a small colony. Their is also a very large native population on the planet. The natives are divided into 3 major tribal groups that have been waring with each other for hundreds of years. These natives are from a pre warp level of technology.

Py'Lea System

This star system is 10 light years west and just slightly south of H'Atoria right next to the Tumar star system.

QI'tu System

This star system is 3 light years north east of H'Atoria.

Tumar System

This star system is 11 light years west and just slightly south of H'Atoria right next to the Py'lea star system.

Veqlargh Bal System

The Veqlargh star cluster was home to the Ameone race. The Klingons waged an unsuccessful war against them over 400 years ago. During the war billions of space mines, asteroid weapons platforms and communications jambing devices were produced by the Ameone and scattered accross the star cluster. As a result this region of space is now too dangerous to enter.

Veqlargh Chu System

The Veqlargh star cluster was home to the Ameone race. The Klingons waged an unsuccessful war against them over 400 years ago. During the war billions of space mines, asteroid weapons platforms and communications jambing devices were produced by the Ameone and scattered accross the star cluster. As a result this region of space is now too dangerous to enter.

Veqlargh Nej System

The Veqlargh star cluster was home to the Ameone race. The Klingons waged an unsuccessful war against them over 400 years ago. During the war billions of space mines, asteroid weapons platforms and communications jambing devices were produced by the Ameone and scattered accross the star cluster. Veqlargh Jad System

Veqlargh Qul System

During the war billions of space mines, asteroid weapons platforms and communications jambing devices were produced by the Ameone and scattered accross the star cluster. As a result this region of space is now too dangerous to enter.

Romulan landmarks

8 other star systems in Romulan controled space in this sector beside those listed below.

Zeta Pictoris

Zeta Pictoris is a Romulan penal colony. Planetary conditions are harsh and the struggle to survive takes up most of the political prisoners time. The colony is watched from orbit by a small Tal Shiar station which orbits the planet and has 2 small patrol craft and 6 shuttles assigned to it.

Nequencia

Nequencia is both a large colony and a major military outpost. In fact it is the largest Romulan colony in this sector with 17 million people. The colony is completely self supporting and has a very well developed economic structure.

The planet has 4 orbiting stations. These are a manned weather and science station, a Tal Shiar observation station, a civilian commercial station and a large military starbase with 16 vessels assigned to it.

Other landmarks

Lambda Hydrae

This system is within the Romulan neutral zone

Azure Nebula

Half of this nebula is within the Trinity sector (B-0005-1300) and the other half is within the Acamar sector. (B-0004-1300) See Federation records listed as Azure Nebula File.
