Family Background
The Kendrick family are descendents of early 22nd century space boomers from Earth. With the Federation expanding further into the Alpha en Beta Quadrants, John’s grandfather felt that their rules and regulations were starting to hurt his trading business so in the mid 30s of the 24th century, he decided to build a hub outside of Federation controlled space to create his own business empire. This hub eventually grew out to become “Kendrick’s Palace”, the headquarters of the Universal Trading Company (UTC) which unites 47 independent freighters in search of business, trading and transport. The Palace is actually a four-armed space station in orbit of a blue gas giant in the Gath system.

John's passion for space and piloting began at the age of 12 when his father gifted him his first shuttlepod. This early exposure allowed him to grasp the fundamentals of warp engines and refine his skills as a pilot.

Being the eldest son, John was expected to take over the company, just like his father before him. Unfortunately John had other plans for his life and decided he wanted to join Starfleet. That decision caused a rift between him and his family. A painful situation with which he struggles with up until today.

He left home at the age of 18 and traveled to Earth to study at Starfleet Academy as his true desire was to explore the vast reaches of the galaxy.

Academy Years
A Starfleet officer embodies the spirit of a 25th-century Renaissance person, often referred to as a "miracle worker." However, the reality is that only a small fraction of officers who graduate from the Academy possess exceptional abilities that enable them to excel in virtually every field. John falls into the category of individuals who, despite limited natural talent, managed to navigate their way through the rigorous four-year program through sheer determination, hard work and last but not least, the help of his closest friend, Gabriella Morientes. He chose to become a Security officer, believing that it would grant him a front-row seat during first contact missions and diplomatic conferences.

Thanks to his exceptional marksmanship at the phaser range, his fellow cadets affectionately nicknamed him "Hawkeye Kendrick."

USS Juneau
Upon successfully graduating from the Academy on stardate 239801.03, John received his first assignment as a Security officer on the USS Juneau NX-99801. This starship boasted the distinction of being the first in Starfleet to house a Warp VX engine. Demonstrating his dedication and competence, John's exceptional performance led to a promotion to the rank of Lieutenant JG on stardate 239806.25, subsequent to their mission to the planet Aturn VII. Only three months later, on stardate 239809.18, he achieved yet another promotion.

The pinnacle of John's career unfolded on stardate 239811.19 when Captain Oddas entrusted him with the responsibility of Acting Chief of Security and Tactical. Recognizing his skill and leadership potential, this appointment marked a significant milestone for John. Eventually, on stardate 239905.08 when the crew made the transfer to Denali Station, his position as Chief of Security and Tactical became a permanent role, solidifying his reputation and confirming his contribution to the ship's success.
The Wanderer Incident
During John's shore leave following their mission to Ring 42 (239808), he found himself at Lightside Station, where an unexpected encounter awaited him. To his surprise, he crossed paths with the crew of The Wanderer, a freighter operating under his father's transport company. Captain Hennessey graciously offered John a tour of their ship, during which they made a startling discovery—a shipment of valuable honey from Butterfly City had been stolen. It became apparent that transport companies or freighters conducting business at the station for the first time were more prone to experiencing such incidents. Curiously, John noticed that the station authorities referred to the stolen cargo as "missing" rather than acknowledging it as theft, a clear attempt to preserve the station's reputation, or rather, that of the port authority. Unfortunately, the authorities had a poor track record of recovering the "missing" cargo, with rumors circulating that freighter captains were often extorted with exorbitant credit demands to retrieve their goods. Faced with the authorities' inability or unwillingness to assist, John made a resolute decision to aid The Wanderer's crew in recovering their stolen cargo.

Their journey led them to the fifth moon of Orstand III, known as Orsung, where they discovered the stolen cargo concealed within a warehouse situated in the heart of a Balerian settlement. Keen on avoiding unnecessary violence, John initiated negotiations with the Balerian leader, Orzuc. He proposed a trade: The Wanderer's shipment of honey in exchange for John's cherished ancient chronowatch—a sentimental gift from his father's Ferengi bookkeeper named Wren. After careful deliberation, the Balerians agreed to the trade, and with the exchange complete, The Wanderer altered its course, heading back to Lightside Station.

Not all ranks are available in all colors. Use full rank names (except for Lieutenant JG and Lt. Commander, and Lt. Colonel). Pipstyle can be changed from Default to DS9 or Slanted. See the table later in this bio for examples of each. There is also an extra STO pip set, but it works best in the table rather than in the sidebar.
The Death of Martuf
Martuf, a member of the ancient Kalinda species that constructed Lightside Station, held a position with the port authorities aboard the Spike. In order to sustain his extravagant lifestyle and settle his mounting gambling debts, Martuf engaged in selling valuable information to a criminal syndicate regarding the activities of freighters carrying intriguing cargo. Additionally, he ensured that any complaints raised by these freighters were conveniently buried among the overwhelming influx of daily reports and files. This clandestine arrangement proved advantageous to Martuf for several years. However, his fortunes took a sharp turn when he crossed paths with John Kendrick and Moa Andersson, the latter being the first mate and pilot of The Wanderer.

For date of birth, add a leading zero for single digit months and dates. The sidebar will automatically calculate your character's age as well.
Upon kidnapping Martuf, the duo transported him aboard The Wanderer, securing him within a crate for interrogation. Following his coerced disclosure of the necessary details to recover their stolen cargo, they carefully sedated Martuf and returned him to his quarters on Lightside Station, concealing him within the crate. The plan was for Martuf to awaken after approximately twelve hours, by which time the effects of the sedatives would have worn off. However, unexpectedly, Martuf was unable to open the crate and tragically succumbed to his fate. The authorities subsequently deemed his death as a likely suicide due to his extensive outstanding debts.

If you have an image for your character, add the file name for it such as EnsignSmith.jpg in the last field.
Upon learning of Martuf's death, which coincided with his own promotion to the rank of Lieutenant, John found himself in a moral quandary. He resorted to silence and tried to convince himself that he might not bear responsibility for Martuf's demise —considering Martuf's criminal connections and potential enemies. In reality, this was merely an excuse to avoid accepting his role in the events. The weight of these circumstances continues to burden John, casting a profound shadow over both his personal life and professional career.

Do NOT put or or File: in the name. The template will automatically resize your image to fit the sidebar.
T’Lea
During their mission to Aturn VII, John, together with Lieutenant-Commander T’Lea and Doctor Rel, were taken prisoner by the Ferengi DaiMon named KayBay and beamed to the Golden Feather. In the DaiMon’s brig, the resourceful Commander T'Lea hatched a plan for their escape, employing a clever ruse involving a faux Vulcan nerve pinch on both John and Doctor Rel. It was during this critical moment that the effects of T'Lea's impending Pon Farr, a Vulcan mating cycle, inadvertently transmitted her emotions into John's unconsciousness, forming an unexpected bond between the two.

If you don't have an image for your character, just leave that field blank and a placeholder will show up instead. You can use the "EXTRA" field if you want to add something else to the bottom of your sidebar such as another image, a badge such as the Featured Bio Contest winner badge or links to subpages such as an academy transcript or a medical record. If you don't want to add anything, just leave it blank as well.
Three months later, during their shore leave, John was traveling aboard The Wanderer when he received a holo-message from T’Lea. Apparently she had tracked down the murderer of her mother, a Cardassian woman named Dal Selta. Fearing that she might get killed and that Dal would escape, T'Lea asked John to follow her to the planet Phorth to help her.

You can also display your OOC writer ID number in your character's sidebar if you want by adding AUTHOR= to the list of variables. If you leave it blank, this field will disappear.
Upon their arrival, John beamed down to the planet's surface, only to discover T'Lea and two Romulans —her mother, Raivus, and a man named Ajen. As John laid eyes upon T'Lea, he felt an overwhelming and nearly uncontrollable longing for her. As the four of them were safely transported back to The Wanderer's cargo bay, John found himself engaged in a fierce hand-to-hand combat with Ajen, known as the Kal-if-fee. Outmatched and at the mercy of his opponent, John's impending defeat was abruptly halted when Moa skillfully intervened, stunning Ajen with a well-placed shot to the chest.

Once you're done, we'll move onto the introductory sentence/paragraph for your character below!-->
Following the abrupt end of the Kal-if-fee, T'Lea tended to John's wounds in sickbay, and their deep longing for one another could no longer be denied. Succumbing to the demands of T'Lea's Pon Farr, they engaged in a mating ritual, satiating the primal hunger within them.
Ensign John Kendrick is currently serving as a Security Officer aboard the Juneau.

Appearance
As The Wanderer returned to Lightside Station, Raivus was handed over to Starfleet Intelligence, while Ajen, for lack of an arrest warrant, was released. T'Lea and John, however, silently parted ways, their unspoken connection lingering as a powerful, all-consuming attraction.

In the months following T'Lea's departure from the USS Juneau, John started dating nurse Katrina Pelley. However, upon T'Lea's reunion with the crew at Denali Station, she determined it was necessary to sever the bond between her and John. At the Awards Ceremony held at Club Möbius (SD 239909.09), T'Lea cunningly lured John away, exploiting his slightly inebriated state to perform a Vulcan ritual without his full awareness. This ritual induced a "brain zap," rendering John unconscious and erasing his memory of the event.

Clothing
As 2399 drew to a close, a minor misunderstanding arose between John and T'Lea when he mistakenly believed she had trespassed into his apartment to steal his saxophone. However, this misunderstanding ultimately led to T'Lea disclosing the truth about the Pon Farr incident, shedding light on their complex relationship.

On Duty
Katrina Pelly
John first met Nurse Katrina Pelley when they were both assigned to an Away Team dispatched to Ring 42, specifically to the ancient city of Deolia. Their mission aimed to locate a group of Starfleet officers who had gone missing from the Grace Hopper (SD 239806.27). Despite being part of the same team, they hadn't engaged in much conversation during or after the mission. Given the size of the USS Juneau, it wasn't until their mission in the Oort Cloud, where they pursued a group of pirates, that they crossed paths again (SD 239904.19).

Off Duty
It was during this second encounter that Katrina, the nurse responsible for treating John's head injury in Sickbay after his return from a daring rescue operation aboard a freighter that had attempted to collide with the Juneau, caught his attention. Serendipity seemed to intervene, as the following day they happened to meet once more at the Clanhouse. Engaging in conversation, John discovered that while his feelings for T'Lea remained strong, he was also drawn to Katrina, who emanated a grounded and nurturing presence.

Relationships
Both John and Katrina eventually transferred to Denali Station. Although they currently maintain separate living arrangements, John mostly spends his nights at Katrina's apartment.

Redemption
(Description Here)
At the end of shore leave (240004) John receives a call from Ensign Leynen about a freighter crew wanting to meet up with him. As he arrives at the Landing Zone of Denali Station, he finds The Wanderer, an old Aerie-class vessel, heavily damaged. Moa, The Wanderer's first mate, reveals they were attacked by Orion pirates. Unfortunately, captain Hennessey got killed.

As John inquires why the Orions attacked them, Moa tells him how Hennessey had agreed to smuggle weapons from Lightside Station to Mumford Colony in exchange for evidence of John and Moa's innocence regarding the death of Martuf. Apparently, the Orions got wind of their cargo and decided to steal it from them. John wants to confiscate their cargo, since it is an illegal transport, but Moa stops him from doing so as she tells him that if they don't deliver their shipment, there will be a bounty on the crew's heads.

Background
As John realizes the crew got into this mess because of his actions at Lightside Station almost two years ago, he knows he has a moral obligation to help the crew of The Wanderer – even if it means going against every rule he swore to uphold as a Starfleet officer. With T'Lea gone, John has no one else to confide in. Unable to find a way to help the crew of The Wanderer in his capacity as the Station's Chief of Security, he decides to file for a leave of absence, not knowing if he would (or could) ever return to Denali or Starfleet.

Family Background
After undergoing the necessary repairs, The Wanderer sets course for Mumford Colony, with John occupying the captain's chair. As they arrive at Mumford Colony, John and Brikane beam down to the planet's surface, only to find that the Colony is seemingly deserted. Suddenly, they are attacked by Kalari soldiers and captured, while The Wanderer is overtaken by Kalari destroyers.
John was born into a wealthy family, living in a sector just outside Federation controlled space. His father, Bill Kendrick, leads the Universal Trading Company (UTC) which unites 47 independent freighters in search for business, trading and transport.

Being the eldest son, John was expected to take over the company just like his father before him. But John wasn’t cut out for the world of business. He is an adventurer, an explorer.
In captivity, John and Brikane are interrogated by Ka Adillo, the Kalari general. After revealing their identity as freighter crew members and not Starfleet officers, they are taken to a fenced perimeter, where they are reunited with Moa and Tolena.

At age 18, John left his home and family behind to study at Starfleet Academy.
At Kalari Headquarters, Ka Adillo discusses terraforming plans with his scientists. The soldiers inform him that they are ready to proceed, and Ka Adillo expresses his determination to eliminate the Federation presence on the planet.

Road to Starfleet
John and his crew discover a deadly disruption field inside the fenced perimeter where they are being held, and quickly surmise that it's a machine to vaporize the colonists en masse. They quickly formulate a plan to distract the Kalari prison guards so Tolena can reprogram the deadly machine, turning it into a transporter. They successfully execute their plan and as the villagers are beamed over to The Wanderer, John and Brikane stay behind to hold off the Kalari soldiers.

Throughout the Federation and beyond, a Starfleet officer has the aura of a 24th century renaissance man or woman. The so-called miracle workers. In reality however, only a small percentage of officers graduating from the Academy are truly gifted to excel in just about everything.
With the colonists safely aboard the ship, John and Brikane are the last ones to materialize in The Wanderer's cargo bay. Moa sets a course away from Mumford Colony, narrowly evading the pursuing Kalari destroyers.

John falls in the category of those who, with limited talent but with hard work, managed to struggle their way through those four long years at the Academy. Observe and learn. That’s what his mother always told him.
The crew offers John command of The Wanderer, fulfilling Hennessey's final wish. The adventure prompts him to reevaluate his life and career, leading him to decide to stay aboard, hoping it will provide him with additional time to figure out his next steps in life.

Having no great love for the sciences and already having basic engineering and piloting skills (he got his first shuttlepod from his father at age 12), he chose to major in Starfleet Academy Survival Training (both Security and Tactical). A security officer has front row seats when it comes to first contact missions or diplomatic conferences. He’d go crazy if he had to sit at the helm of a starship all day or if he was being confined to engineering.
Never Say Never
Four months apart from the Station and his life in Starfleet made John realize that a deep longing still resided within him – to be part of something greater than himself. Returning to Denali, he assumes the position as the Strategic Operations Officer.

Christopher Pelley
John and Katrina's son, named after Katrina's father, was born on stardate 240103.17 aboard the USS Eagle as the ship returned to Denali Station following their mission to Lightside Station.

; Visitors in the Night (239801.10 – 239802.19): The crew of the USS Juneau is investigating a black hole circling a quasar, when probes pick up evidence of a derelict vessel on the verge of being pulled in. Closer inspection shows it to be a pair of vessels, a large vessel of unknown origin and a smaller but still large Mithgiln vessel.

; Shore Leave (239805.23 – 239806.26): After another intense mission, John is debriefed by First Officer Iovianus. After that he joins a training session at the phaser range aboard Juneau, organized by Major Han. Showing off his skills as an excellent marksman, Lieutenant JG Silveira nicknames him Bullseye Kendrick. He also attends a counseling session with Counselor Tierney, discussing his difficult relationship with his family. Before the Awards Ceremony he meets up with Commander Williams from Starfleet Intelligence, who just recently transferred to the ship, to discuss how they could improve the ship’s sensor internal sensors to detect weapons that can’t be filtered out by the ship’s transporter.

; Return to the Ring (239806.27 – 239808.20): Captain Melchor of the USS Grace Hopper contacts the USS Juneau after their Away Team has gone missing on Ring 42 in the Dialran system.
|What's up, doc?
; Shore Leave (239808.21 – 239809.21): While visiting Lightside Station, John has an unexpected encounter with the crew of The Wanderer – a freighter in service of his father’s transport company. As their Captain - Hennessey - offers John a tour of the ship, they discover that their cargo has been stolen. With no help from the authorities, John decides to help the crew get their stolen cargo back. Their journey leads them to the fifth moon of Orstand III (Orsung) where they find their stolen cargo in a warehouse located in the center of a Balerian settlement. In an attempt to avoid bloodshed, John offers the Balerian leader named Orzuc a trade: Wanderer’s shipment of honey in exchange for an ancient chronowatch. The Balerians agree and after The Wanderer sets course back for Lightside Station, John receives an urgent message from Lieutenant-Commander T’Lea. Realizing her life is in danger, John asks Hennessey to alter course for the planet Phorth. Once there, they beam the Commander aboard – together with her mother (Raivus) and a Romulan male named Ajen. John suddenly finds himself fighting for the right to mate with T’Lea – the ancient Vulcan ritual of Kal-If-Fee. After he’s knocked down by Ajen and is about to lose the fight, Ajen is stunned down by Moa, ultimately making John the winner. As they conclude the ritual of Pon Farr, John is left with more questions than answers. Are they in a relationship now?
|It's all in the details
; The Pied Piper (239809.22 – 239810.22): After successfully concluding the peace process between the Caglan and the Zik, the Juneau sets course for nebula DE-678912 - dubbed the Dirty Elbow Nebulae by the locals - after receiving a distress call from an old Cardassian listening post, claiming Nauscican pirates are targeting transport vessels in one of the most prominent trading routes in the Aavaro Wilds.
|These things happen
; Shore Leave (239810.23 – 239811.21):John and Intelligence Officer, Commander Williams, join Commander T’Lea on an archaeological expedition deep in the jungle of Hendrikspool on Bajor. They accidentally meet up with Science Officer Ensign Falt and his father Erik, who were on a camping trip, and continue their journey through the jungle. Their search for a crashed Cardassian transport vessel some eighty years ago, at the beginning of the occupation, eventually leads to the discovery of a settlement of the survivors - all followers of the Oralian Way. T’Lea manages to convince their Bajoran protector, Vedek Re, to return to the civilized world to treat his medical condition.

; The Silent Monster (239811.22 – 239901.02): As the Juneau is surveying the planet Anadasa, an M-class world inhabited by a pre-industrialized civilization, the Tactical Department detects a crashed Borg ship deep within the planet’s ocean.
|Into the Wilds we go
; Shore Leave (239901.03 – 239902.15): As Juneau arrives at Ring 42 to help the crew of the Grace Hopper with the construction of their research facilities, John spends his free hours reading and analysing padds upon padds on Security and Tactical procedures to improve his skills. His study is interrupted by Commander Qinn’s request to join Engineering officer Velehk Careno and Ensign Thand – one of the Grace Hopper’s linguists – to explore one of the ancient labs they discovered on Ring 42. As three of them try to make sense of the installations inside the lab, they accidently activate one of the devices and are shifted out of phase with normal space. Unable to contact their ships, they start exploring the lab until they stumble upon what looks like a turbolift car, octagonal shaped, but without a door. They conclude it is some kind of teleportation device. Ensign Thand is able to figure out its mechanics and realizes it’s a device built to transfer people in and out of phase. Relieved to have found a way out, he three of them step onto the pad and activate the machine to return to normal space.
|That's no Spike!
; Special Mission (LOA 239902.16 - 239903.18): After the Awards Ceremony aboard Juneau, John receives an urgent call from Starfleet Command. Apparently Command wants him to join the security detail of a Federation diplomatic mission to the Kalari Republic. Starfleet has only recently made first contact with this reptilian race, but his family’s company - the Universal Trading Company - already established a trade route deep into Kalari space years ago, which means Starfleet believes John’s knowledge of the Kalari could prove to be invaluable to the success of their mission. Unfortunately - as John had tried to warn them beforehand - the Kalari weren’t interested in any real diplomatic relationship with the Federation. To them, the Federation and - according to their propaganda - its military instrument, Starfleet, was a virus that infected the galaxy, imposing their rules and values on other civilizations.
|Part of the team
; Finders Keepers (239903.19 - 239904.19): Returning to Juneau after his special mission for Starfleet, John finds the ship and crew in the middle of a mission to retrieve an ancient artifact, stolen from the Grace Hopper by a group of pirates. Deep inside an asteroid field in the Xurov system, out of nowhere, a Cardassian freighter appears and it's on a ramming course towards Juneau. Barely able to deflect the attack, John and Major Leix are ordered to beam over to the vessel to further investigate the incident. Aboard the freighter they learn it was a group of pirates who had manipulated the ship's computer to set a course for Juneau, leaving its crew behind as bait. Leix and John manage to rescue the freighter's crew before life support fails.
|That was awkward
; Shore Leave (239904.20 - 239906.14): During shore leave John, together with the rest of the senior crew, makes the transfer to Denali Station and works 26/7 to set up their offices at Soldotna.
}}
; A Web Unbound (239906.15 - 239907.31): John joins Commander Qinn’s team as they investigate a Spire on the far edge of the city that had previously been inaccessible but has suddenly opened the door for the new residents of the City. After entering the tower, they find themselves shut in. The crew figures out the tower’s original purpose, namely to serve as some kind of automated maintenance center for the city. Its systems, however, have been degraded after centuries of disuse and lack of maintenance. Establishing communications with the robotic avatar of the AI that runs the facility, the crew assures the system they would help it repair itself. Seemingly satisfied to have new occupants to communicate with, the tower allows the team to leave and return to Denali Station.
; Shore Leave (239908.01 - 239909.09):  As shore leave starts, the staff of Denali Station welcomes a new influx of Starfleet officers. John meets one of his new Security officers, Ensign Barric, and unexpectedly has to stand in as examiner for the phaser recertification of officers T’Lea and Yael. During the Station’s Awards Ceremony at Möbius, T’Lea lures John away from the club. Unbeknownst to John, during the Pon Farr ritual now a little over a year ago, he was bonded to T’Lea. Since he is now in a relationship with nurse Katrina Pelley, T’Lea feels it’s no longer appropriate to leave the bond intact and decides to break the link between them. Not fully realizing what is happening to him, the Vulcan ritual causes some sort of ‘brain zap’ and he drops unconscious with no memory of what happened.
; Take Me Somewhere Else (239909.10 - 239911.05): John joins Science Officer Falt’s team to explore another Spire (this one ivory colored) in the North East district of the City. As they enter the building, they take the stairs down to a White Hall located underneath the building. As they try figure out the function of the room, they accidently activate some sort of alien transporting system and find themselves being whisked away to some place else. That ‘somewhere else’ is apparently located underwater. Their presence attracts the local marine wildlife and as a gigantic sea creature smashes one of the windows in the corridor, they have to flee into a Lab. As they try to figure out a way to contact the station, they encounter another Starfleet officer, a Vulcan named V’Las who got stranded here months ago during a survey mission of the USS Grace Hopper. The team successfully manages to contact the USS Eagle and discovers a submersible which could take them back up to the surface. Since the pod has only room for three people, John and Ensign Kettick stay behind. As the pod departs, suddenly the Lab starts to flood. The alien sea creature has somehow managed to find its way in, searching for something to eat. That something being John and Kettick. Fortunately, a safety protocol is activated and a wall rises up into the ceiling, revealing a set of diving suits. They both put on a suit and as Commander T’Lea returns with the pod, she gives them a lift out of the Lab.
; Shore Leave (239911.06 - 239912.24): John, together with Marine Captain Fairhug and Ensign Forsyth, inspect the Mithgiln Embassy prior to its official opening. They discover explosive devices inside an elevator shaft, out of phase with normal space. As John remembers how he was put out of phase by an Ancient device almost a year ago now, they pay a visit to the Lab and bump into Ensign Thand, the Tellarite linguist from the Grace Hopper. Noticing the man’s odd behavior, things quickly run out of hand as Thand holds the three of them at gunpoint.  The stalemate ends as they finally manage to talk some sense into the man. Thand confides in them, explaining that a group of Orions abducted his wife. They will only release her if he hands over the phase device. John comes up with a plan. The three Starfleet officers join Thand as he travels to an Orion base located on an asteroid. They are greeted by an Orion man named Lordin, who commandeers an old interceptor. Lordin, together with one of his henchmen and Lov - Thand’s wife – beam over to the shuttle. Unbeknownst to them, John and Fairhug had transported themselves out of phase. As Lordin wants to complete the transaction, taking not only the phase device but also Ensign Forsyth to sell on the slave market, Thand activates the phase device. John and Fairhug almost magically shimmer into existence, and arrest both Lordin and his guard.
; Seminar Starbase 118 (LOA 239912.25 - 240001.22): John traveled to Starbase 118 to attend a seminar on new Starfleet security protocols.
; Annihilation Approaches (240001-23 - 240003-17 ): John had just returned from a seminar at Starbase 118 when he was suddenly thrust into a perilous situation. Asteroids were on a collision course with Ring 42, and he had to help create a shield around the station with his runabout, the Caribou. However, while doing so, the runabout was struck by an asteroid fragment and had to be beamed aboard the USS Eagle. There, he was assigned to the tactical station to assist in finding a way to prevent the asteroids from destroying the station.
; Shore Leave (240003.17 - 240004.30): As shore leave starts, John is tasked with improving the City's and Station's defense infrastructure. Commander Falt invites him to a dinner party. At the end of shore leave, John receives a message from The Wanderer, requesting his help after the freighter was attacked by Orion Pirates. Feeling obliged to help the crew of The Wanderer, John files for a leave of absence to aid his friends.
; Redemption (LOA 240005.01 - 240008.28):John, returning from shore leave, encounters The Wanderer, a damaged vessel attacked by Orion pirates, whose captain was killed. He learns they were smuggling weapons from Lightside Station to Mumford Colony, tied to his past actions. Despite the cargo being illegal, Moa, the first mate, warns against confiscation due to a looming bounty. Feeling responsible, John files for a leave of absence and joins the crew, ultimately deciding to stay aboard The Wanderer, embarking on a new chapter of his life.
; The Invitational (240009.18 - 240011.23 ): As Denali Station prepares to host the Aavaro Wilds and beyond for an exhilarating space race, John joins forces with Lieutenant Iko from Amity Outpost, Lieutenant Dagaz, and Ensign P’omol’satius P’okoso’nosneeska to investigate a suspected terrorist threat set to unfold beneath the Expo's bustling activity. However, their investigation takes a dangerous turn when John is wounded by a booby trap upon entering the catacombs beneath the Expo. Transported to the Clinic for surgery, John is forced to sit out the mission as his comrades continue the investigation without him.
; Shore Leave (240011.24 - 240101.02): during shore leave at the tranquil Clalash Retreat on Bajor, John reunites with Katrina, his partner. Their relationship had weathered the storm of John's sudden disappearance eight months prior when he joined The Wanderer's crew on a perilous mission. Now reunited, their love reignites as they prepare for the arrival of their baby. However, their peaceful respite is interrupted when John receives news of danger in Musilla Province on Bajor, where Tomas and other crew members are in jeopardy. Rushing to the scene, they find the threat has passed, and John returns to the Eagle.
; Dark Side of Lightside (240101.03 - 240103.17 ): The adventure aboard Lightside Station unfolds initially as an undercover operation, rapidly evolving into a murder investigation. Despite the setback of their cover being compromised, Kendrick, along with his Starfleet comrades and Constable Injara, confronts the escalating challenge with determination. Amidst the chaos of investigating the hangar where the elusive Orion fugitive, Itthock, is suspected to be hiding, the imminent threat of decompression adds urgency to their mission. Thankfully, an emergency beam-out from the Eagle ultimately rescues them from the perilous brink of a cold death in the vacuum of space.
; Shore Leave (240103.18 - 240104.16): As the USS Eagle returnes from its mission at Lightside Station, John and Katrina joyfully welcome their newborn son, Christopher. John is adjusting well to his new role as a father, embracing the challenges and joys it brings. With the help of Tomas Falt, Christopher's godfather, John builds a cabin in the forest on the Mountain Range southwest of Denali City.
; Dead in the Water & Whispers from the Ruin (240104.17 - 240105.28 ): The station receives a message from Commander Melchor, CO of the USS Juneau, requesting additional personnel to help investigate a discovery near Movern VI. Led by Falt, the runabout Takotna is dispatched, only to find the Juneau adrift with its crew missing. They discover that wormlike alien creatures feeding on energy accidentally came aboard the Juneau. After making telepathic contact with the aliens and understanding they want to leave the ship, the team places them inside a torpedo and launches it toward a nearby star, providing the aliens with a continuous food source.
; Shore Leave (240105.29 - 240106.30): John enjoys quality time with his family and reacquaints himself with his old job as Head of the Security and Tactical Department, having temporarily assumed the position on stardate 240104.14.
; Between the Worlds (240107.01 - 240108.26 ): During a mission to deploy a network of communication satellites to improve long distance communication between biomes on Ring 42, the Eagle is thrown into a parallel universe. As the Eagle is boarded by a group of hostiles, John has to find a way to stop them from reaching the Bridge.

Personal History

Both John and Katrina eventually transferred to Denali Station. Although they currently maintain separate living arrangements, John mostly spends his nights at Katrina's apartment.

Redemption

In captivity, John and Brikane are interrogated by Ka Adillo, the Kalari general. After revealing their identity as freighter crew members and not Starfleet officers, they are taken to a fenced perimeter, where they are reunited with Moa and Tolena.

At Kalari Headquarters, Ka Adillo discusses terraforming plans with his scientists. The soldiers inform him that they are ready to proceed, and Ka Adillo expresses his determination to eliminate the Federation presence on the planet.

With the colonists safely aboard the ship, John and Brikane are the last ones to materialize in The Wanderer's cargo bay. Moa sets a course away from Mumford Colony, narrowly evading the pursuing Kalari destroyers.

The crew offers John command of The Wanderer, fulfilling Hennessey's final wish. The adventure prompts him to reevaluate his life and career, leading him to decide to stay aboard, hoping it will provide him with additional time to figure out his next steps in life.

Missions & Shore Leaves

Visitors in the Night (239801.10 – 239802.19)
The crew of the USS Juneau is investigating a black hole circling a quasar, when probes pick up evidence of a derelict vessel on the verge of being pulled in. Closer inspection shows it to be a pair of vessels, a large vessel of unknown origin and a smaller but still large Mithgiln vessel.
Shore Leave (239802.20 – 239803.12)
John visits Lightside Station for the first time and goes to Fusion Haven where he chooses to take a mud bath to relax a little bit after his first mission aboard the Juneau. Unfortunately his day out to the spa is suddenly interrupted as Captain Han contacts him, informing him about the disappearance of both doctor Indobri and science officer T’Lea. John joins the SAR-mission to Orstand III to find their missing crew members.
The Brave Ferengi (239803.13 – 239805.22)
The Jem'Hadar found a new home on Aturn VII, a planet claimed by the Ferengi DaiMon Kaybay. Captain Oddas is called upon by First Bekanar’Klan to mediate a peaceful resolution.
Shore Leave (239805.23 – 239806.26)
After another intense mission, John is debriefed by First Officer Iovianus.
Return to the Ring (239806.27 – 239808.20)
Captain Melchor of the USS Grace Hopper contacts the USS Juneau after their Away Team has gone missing on Ring 42 in the Dialran system.
Shore Leave (239808.21 – 239809.21)
While visiting Lightside Station, John has an unexpected encounter with the crew of The Wanderer – a freighter in service of his father’s transport company.
The Pied Piper (239809.22 – 239810.22)
After successfully concluding the peace process between the Caglan and the Zik, the Juneau sets course for nebula DE-678912 - dubbed the Dirty Elbow Nebulae by the locals - after receiving a distress call from an old Cardassian listening post, claiming Nauscican pirates are targeting transport vessels in one of the most prominent trading routes in the Aavaro Wilds.
Shore Leave (239810.23 – 239811.21)
John and Intelligence Officer, Commander Williams, join Commander T’Lea on an archaeological expedition deep in the jungle of Hendrikspool on Bajor.
The Silent Monster (239811.22 – 239901.02)
As the Juneau is surveying the planet Anadasa, an M-class world inhabited by a pre-industrialized civilization, the Tactical Department detects a crashed Borg ship deep within the planet’s ocean.
Shore Leave (239901.03 – 239902.15)
As Juneau arrives at Ring 42 to help the crew of the Grace Hopper with the construction of their research facilities, John spends his free hours reading and analysing padds upon padds on Security and Tactical procedures to improve his skills.
Special Mission (LOA 239902.16 - 239903.18)
After the Awards Ceremony aboard Juneau, John receives an urgent call from Starfleet Command.
Finders Keepers (239903.19 - 239904.19)
Returning to Juneau after his special mission for Starfleet, John finds the ship and crew in the middle of a mission to retrieve an ancient artifact, stolen from the Grace Hopper by a group of pirates.
Shore Leave (239904.20 - 239906.14)
During shore leave John, together with the rest of the senior crew, makes the transfer to Denali Station and works 26/7 to set up their offices at Soldotna.
A Web Unbound (239906.15 - 239907.31)
John joins Commander Qinn’s team as they investigate a Spire on the far edge of the city that had previously been inaccessible but has suddenly opened the door for the new residents of the City.
Shore Leave (239908.01 - 239909.09)
As shore leave starts, the staff of Denali Station welcomes a new influx of Starfleet officers.
Take Me Somewhere Else (239909.10 - 239911.05)
John joins Science Officer Falt’s team to explore another Spire (this one ivory colored) in the North East district of the City.
Shore Leave (239911.06 - 239912.24)
John, together with Marine Captain Fairhug and Ensign Forsyth, inspect the Mithgiln Embassy prior to its official opening.
Seminar Starbase 118 (LOA 239912.25 - 240001.22)
John traveled to Starbase 118 to attend a seminar on new Starfleet security protocols.
Annihilation Approaches (240001-23 - 240003-17 )
John had just returned from a seminar at Starbase 118 when he was suddenly thrust into a perilous situation. Asteroids were on a collision course with Ring 42, and he had to help create a shield around the station with his runabout, the Caribou.
