- RATINGS: 185(2). See below for DITL summary.
- TYPE: Medium range space superiority fighter.
- IN-SERVICE DATE: 2385. Designed as a direct successor to the FS-90 series to be a space superiority fighter as opposed to the combination role of gunship/drop-ship that the FA-120s and FA-150s play.
- ACCOMMODATIONS: 1 pilot. Prototypes have 2 seats, while the production model was cut to one to increase performance.
- POWER PLANT: Two 22k millicochrane warp engines, twenty DeFl 9200 micro-fusion RCS thrusters, and two 10k impulse engines. This is the same drive system as a Danube Class Runabout, though situated for better protection within the fighter’s hull.
- DIMENSIONS: Length 11.5m; Wingspan 12.5m; Height 1.7m
- MASS: 8.5m tons.
- PERFORMANCE:
- Normal Cruise: Warp 6
- Max cruise: Warp 8
- Max rated: Warp 8.9 for 12 hours
- ARMAMENT: Four twin-mounted Type XVI pulsed phaser cannons. One cannon is mounted dorsal with a 120' field of fire aft, and one is mounted ventral on the nose with a 270' field centered forward. In twin mounts, each pair of cannons must track the same target. Two wing-mounted micro-quantum torpedo launchers. Wing-mounted hard points can carry up to four full-sized torpedoes and are quantum rated, though typically are loaded with standard torpedoes.
- SHIELDS: Type 10 generators capable of deflecting 2.8 x 10 to the 5th kW. This shield package is identical to the one in the slightly older FA-150, but with the smaller profile of the Hammerhead, it is more effective.

Personnel Shuttles
Type 11 Personnel Shuttles
- 4 Type 11 Personnel Shuttles
- Shuttle Bassen Rift - Status: Active
- Shuttle Kursk - Status: Active
- Shuttle Huai'Hai - Status: Active
- Shuttle Midway - Status: Active
The Type-11 shuttle, designed by the crew of the Enterprise, is a modular design that allows production with minimal extra parts straight from a ship's replicator system. It has a cockpit cabin which is separated from the rest of the interior and a docking port above the passenger compartment behind the cockpit. It is armed with three light phaser arrays and a pair of micro-photon torpedo launchers. Aboard the Ronin, Type-11's are traditionally named after the sites of famous battles.
Type 18 Shuttlepods
- 6 Type 18 Shuttlepods:
- Shuttlepod Cheeta - Status: Active
- Shuttlepod Leopard - Status: Active
- Shuttlepod Lion - Status: Active
- Shuttlepod Panther - Status: Active
- Shuttlepod Puma - Status: Active
- Shuttlepod Tiger - Status: Active
The Type-18 shuttle was designed to function in battle situations and could even be used as an escape vehicle should the need arise. Lacking a warp core, the pod is a poor choice for travel beyond several million kilometers. Aboard the Ronin, Type 18's are traditionally named after big cats of Earth;
Danube Class Runabouts
- 3 Danube Class Runabouts
- USS Wye NCC-72710 - Status: Active
- USS Rio Grande NCC-71899 - Status: Active
- USS Tanaro NCC-75276 - Status: Active
The Danube Class was first commissioned by Starfleet in 2369 for use as a light multipurpose craft in situations that demanded a vessel more powerful than a standard shuttlecraft, but lower profile than a full-sized starship. With this flexibility, a Runabout can be utilized as a long-range personnel/cargo transport, an agile mobile defense platform, or a high-speed reconnaissance vehicle.
Ideally, a Runabout is piloted by two crewmembers, although one pilot will suffice. The bridge can accommodate up to four people. Small square viewscreens mounted within the forward corners of the cabin are used for video communication and ship status displays. In the center of the vessel lies a food replicator and a compact personnel transporter. The transporter is powerful enough to transport multiple personnel at once.
The rear of the craft can be configured as a large crew cabin complete with sleeping and dining areas for extended travel. This area can also be used as a cargo bay. The Runabout is equipped with at least one manual escape hatch located near the front side of the craft.
The innovative feature that made the Runabout possible is its compact high-performance warp propulsion system. A Runabout is capable of traveling at up to Warp 8. The Runabout is also equipped with an aft tractor beam emitter strong enough to tow a Cardassian Galor Class warship.
The Runabout's highly modular platform allows easy configuration for a multitude of missions. Two such modules are the mission module and sensor pod. For defense, the Runabout is armed with phasers and micro-torpedoes. The micro-torpedo launcher assembly is accessible via a hatch on the floor of the forward cabin. The three Runabouts assigned to the Ronin are the USS Wye, the USS Rio Grande and the USS Tanaro, the first named after a river in Wales, the second a river in Colorado and the third a river in Italy.
Type M-1 Sphinx Workpods
- 2 Type M-1 Sphinx Workpods
- Workpod Alexander Bell - Status: Active
- Workpod John Baird- Status: Active
- Aboard the Ronin, Type M-1 Sphinx Workpods are traditionally named after famous inventors; In 1876, at the age of 29, Alexander Graham Bell invented the telephone. John Logie Baird is remembered as the inventor of mechanical television (an earlier version of television). Baird also patented inventions related to radar and fiber optics.
The Type M-1 Sphinx Workpod is a light industrial manipulator with room for two. Powered by one micro-fusion reactor, four Alfinium Krellide power storage cells and four RCS thrusters, the Sphinx Workpod is used mainly as an Engineering shuttle to repair anything on the outside of the ship.
Along with the Work Bee, the various Sphinx Workpod types are a common sight in any large Federation shipbuilding facility. Intended to never be far from its parent facility, the Workpod was designed to allow greater use of hands-on control of the various functions involved with day-to-day construction and repair. With more tools than the Work Bee, the Sphinx M-1A and M-2A are used primarily to manipulate spaceborne hardware during construction. The Sphinx MT-3D is a third variant of this robust design and can be used for towing objects to and from the construction site. Furthermore, a group of MT-3D units can work together to tow larger objects into place including most starship classes when large tractor emitters are not an option. All three variants utilize the same basic systems and are small enough to fit inside of a Type 9A Cargo Shuttlecraft. All variants of the Sphinx Workpod are commonly found at Federation fleet yards and starbases, as well as on larger Starfleet vessels.
