Born on Lor'vela, Andoria among the Kor Keth. Much like other children on Andorian, he was raised by his four parents. Each took turns to raise him and teach Diz'mim about parts of their Keth.

When Diz'mim was old enough, he applied to join the Imperial Guard which he served for 10 years before applying to Starfleet Academy and beginning his career there.
