James keeps his office on the USS Darwin-A as a very plain affair. It consists of a large main room and small side room with replicator facilities. Inside the main room is a large desk, several filling cabinets a view screen and large whiteboard. He would say that he maintains a open door policy - if he where ever in it.

The desk is arraigned so that there is one chair behind the desk and two in front. Given the exception comfort of the chairs he had previously employed on the base he has had the standard chairs replaced with these.

Tacked to the walls are detailed deck plans for each deck of the Darwin, for quick reference.
