Operation Bright Star, the finale of the Vaadwaur Invasion of 2387 blockbuster

Summer Blockbusters are special fleetwide events that involve both IC and OOC collaboration between multiple ships of the fleet. This can take the form of temporary joint ship lists, joint posts between members, special event forums, and other opportunities to foster simming across the fleet that is united on a common theme chosen for each particular blockbuster.

Past Blockbusters

• Yolanda Wars: An armed conflict between the Romulan Star Empire and the Federation that lasted from September 2373 to January 2374, centered around the disappearance of the USS Yolanda
• Gorn Conflict of 2383: culminated in the destruction of the USS Independence at the First Battle of Eratis.
• Grendellai Operations: The joint mission of the USS Kodiak-B, USS Independence and USS Triumphant in the IC93 system and the bombing of Deep Space 17 and the theft of USS Phoenix-C in 2386.
• Vaadwaur Invasion of 2387: The invasion of the Ithassa Region by the Vaadwaur and the fall and subsequent liberation of Deep Space 17.
• Hobus Supernova: A series of relief missions for those planets affected by the destruction of the Hobus star in 2387.
• Battle for Bajor: A conflict centered around the formal admission of Bajor to the United Federation of Planets.
• Klingon Invasion of 2389: The invasion of Romulan territory by the Klingons following the destruction of the Hobus star and the subsequent disarray of the overall Romulan Star Empire.
• Through Open Gates: When ancient Iconian gateways suddenly became open and active in 2390, chaos spreads throughout the galaxy.
