Personality Smart and confident, outgoing and gregarious, Sasha likes people almost as much as she likes machines. She works hard because she enjoys what she does, but also knows how to relax. With the responsibility of raising her daughter alone, she does what she can to give her daughter the best opportunities, and feels like Starfleet is a great way to accomplish that. History Early Life and Schooling Born Sasha Brooks, Sasha was always inclined toward the mechanical and manifested a knack for it at an early age. Quite bright, she graduated secondary school several years early, entered college and received her Engineering degree at age nineteen. She was immediately hired as an engineer and product developer at Starconn Intergalactic. When she was in her early twenties, Sasha met Gary Johnson, a Starfleet officer on leave to further his education on Earth. The two married, and she left her career to follow him. During his assignment to Starbase 118 Ops, Sasha entered the academy and graduated just before her husband was reassigned to Deep Space 4. She was only an officer for about a year before she found out she was pregnant with their daughter. After Zarah Johnson's birth, Sasha decided to step down from her position to focus on raising their daughter in the tumultuous world of Starfleet. Tragedy struck when Zarah was five. Gary was killed during an attack while Sasha and their daughter were visiting family on Earth. Unable to leave the world of Starfleet behind, Sasha requested to be made active once more. Originally, she was assigned to Starbase 118, a base that was quite familiar to her, but was transferred to the USS Thor in October of 2397 after receiving special permission to bring her daughter, and currently serves as an Engineer aboard the USS Oumuamua.
