Zinna

Lieutenant Zinna, an El-Aurian, is currently the chief counselor aboard the USS Tiger-A.

It is rumored that El-Aurians could be empathic but never heard of one being telepathic. Some of the people worshiping the Bright Lady often told Zinna that this was a sign that the Bright Lady have given her a special gift to help others. At once a few of them believed she was half Goddess and half human. Zinna used her abilities on El-Aurians to help the Police find out who was innocent or not and to gain more information. She was also head of interrogations since she was so good at it, and could detect a lie quickly and get the truth without even asking.

Family

• Spouse: Divorced twice, no longer wife of Fulian Xohar. Zinna's first husband was actually divorced and then murdered by her. He stole some of her things right after they were divorced but Zinna was so upset she literally stabbed him to death. Later, she served 20 years in prison on Earth. Her ex-husband, Fulian, beat her and they planned on getting a divorce on her next shore leave. And they did get a divorce, so now she's single.
• Children: Many. Thirteen sons and seven daughters. Most recognized son is Taxo. He's her only son that wants to join Starfleet.

Taxo

• Taxo: Taxo is Zinna's "favorite" son and the only one interested in a Starfleet career as a science officer. He is young and confident. He loves Zinna and they both maintain a telepathic link at all times (unless the distance is too far.) Taxo is 3/4's Terran and 1/4 El-Aurian. Doctors have said he won't live as long as most El-Aurians. To the maximum of the age of 120-200. Taxo loves stellar cartography. He does not like Fulian. Taxo is 10 years old.

The Divine Doctrine & The Bright Lady

The Divine Doctrine is the sacred text that Zinna would read that was given to her by her parents. It has a list of "dos and don'ts" given by The Bright Lady who Zinna believes is her Goddess, or ruler. Zinna's religion is a very ancient and rare religion and she might be the only El-Aurian left alive practicing it. It's so old and rare it doesn't have it's own name, but Zinna has been searching for one and thinking of naming it. Her religion isn't very strict and doesn't require much "prayer", but such things to upset the Goddess will have consequences.

  • They don't call her a "listener" for nothing. She would rather listen to someone for two hours then talk for two hours.
  • She has the tendency to be *too* curious at sometimes when she wants to learn something she ends up getting herself in danger.

• Special Skills:
  • Singing: Zinna has an amazing voice. She used to sing karaoke for money and now is a professional singer. She sung at the Mess Hall a nights at the Academy. She usually sings Pop, R&B, Rock, and Slow Love Songs. Zinna also has the talent of different styles of singing. Zinna knows how to use her voice to produce falsetto, growls, and even whistles!!!
  • Listening: Her race is El-Aurian which is also called the race of "listeners". Zinna loves to listen to people talk, not only their problems because she's a counselor, but good things as well. This is special because she can listen for very long periods of time.
  • Not getting sick: Zinna eats a lot off cookie dough and cake batter and never gets sick. It's not her El-Aurian body system because her son who is El-Aurian ate raw cookie dough and got sick. Her daughter ate cake batter when she was baking a cake and she got sick. Zinna considers this a miracle.
  • Telepathy and Empathy: Zinna is a highly powerful Empath and Telepath. She can sense a single persons emotion from the distance of hundreds of miles. Empathy and Telepathy is very rare for El-Aurians and she has both. None of her parents or grandparents have this gift. She is also a very skilled at reading minds and communicating with her mind and sending different thoughts to other minds. At a time she was a forensic scientist where she should act as a cop on El-Auria and read the minds of criminals to see if they were guilty of committing the crime.

Origin

Zinna was born to two very good parents on 218911.07. Not too soon in 2265, when Zinna was 76 her home world was assimilated by the Borg. Her parents didn't make it because they were crushed by a pile of rubble. Zinna's parents begged for her to help but Zinna forgot about them and left them to die or be assimilated.

Zinna also survived through the destruction of the two starships that carried refuges (SS Lakul and SS Robert Fox) She and a few other El-Aurians were saved by the USS Enterprise-B. She was then put on Earth in an orphanage. But was so strange was that Zinna didn't tell her other siblings they could transport to Earth. She was the last one transport off leaving her brothers and sisters to die!

Zinna was married for the first time in 208912.09 to Conner. They lasted for two years when Zinna found out he was cheating on her. An immediate divorced was decided. Exactly 10 hours after the divorce Conner broke into Zinna's house and stole some of her things. He apologized and asked to put them back but Zinna stabbed him nineteen times killing the man. Moments later authorities were called and she was sentenced to 20 years in prison. She served her years and now REFUSES to take another life.

Zinna soon marries Fulian and has 18 kids. Two originally belonged to Fulian.

On 238811.13, Zinna and Fulian were divorced for good, and Zinna was decided to keep Taxo

On 238901.07, Zinna went into a coma and temporarily lost her telepathy. During this time she eventually recovered and half remembered things and nearly forgot how to walk. Dr Kolar helped her, but she instantly fell in love with him.
