- Miri star system is located in the Trinity Sector. This space sector is divided almost equally between the Federation, Klingon and Romulan Empires. Ophiucus is approximately 4 lightyears from Starbase 118 in the direction of Epsilon Outpost #11. Of the 2 star systems virtually side by side it is the one closest to Starbase 118.
Partly due to the negative conditions encountered during the first contact with this human colony and certain problems plagueing the records department for deep space records all the original information for this system was incorrectly filed under Ophiucus 70 system which is on the other side of Sol from the true location of the Miri system.
