	Background/Personality/Career History

Born to a lesser daughter of a minor Betazoid household. Her parents' union is part of a diplomatic relations initiative between Vulcan and Betazed. She has 3 older half-sisters who are from her mother's previous union. Her sisters are variously skilled at empathy and telepathy. T’Fearne’s E/T abilities are below average, and her empathic sense is sometimes wrong, giving false readings and causing a struggle at times to control her strong emotions from her Vulcan heritage. When she didn't show any strong mental ability, she realised her life would be different to that of her sisters. She looked for other avenues of interest that appealed to her natural skills. Vulcan's enhanced strength and reflexes, paired with a slight empathic skill, served her well in martial sports, and the meditation helped control her emotions. She is rated as having strong E3 (empathic sense - touch only), which enhances her ability to detect emotions in combat against a physical opponent. She took lessons in Tassa'Akai and competed at a semi-professional level and was considered above average skill with the akai (a Betazoid fighting baton).

While travelling with her parents on a minor off-world mediation mission, they encountered a civil disagreement that turned into conflict when the parties got heated. Several people around her were injured, including the Starfleet officers from their transport ship. After returning home, she began to train and showed some proficiency in weapons and strategy. She eventually chose to join Starfleet, an organisation that let her stand on her own feet and spread her wings.

At the academy, she majored in Security and minored in Helm/Navigation. Excelling at Diplomacy, Survival, Piloting and Martial Combat Tactics. She only just scraped by in Engineering, and First Aid and was average in most other areas. She spent some time survival training in the Australian outback.

	Mission History

Stardate 240107: After graduating from the Academy (2397-2401), Ensign T'Fearne received her duty placement and orders to travel to DS33 and report for duty aboard The USS Ronin (Captain Karrod Niac commanding). The Akira class heavy cruisers deployment area primarily includes the Alpha Ilse.

Stardate 240108: While T'Fearne was still finding her rhythm in shipboard life, the Ronin and her sister ship, the Khitomer, were embroiled in a battle with the Lattice Alliance. As a security officer, T'Fearne was temporarily assigned to a joint security detail to shore up Deep Space 33's security. Seiuri Team, led by Commander Toryn Raga and consisting of SCPO Kiran Rork, Ensigns' T'Fearne and Cecil Valo, Crewman Briza-Kar (Breeze), was joined temporarily by Lieutenant Korras during the course of the mission.

Stardate 240111: During the Ronin's much-needed repairs and overhaul of damaged systems, T'Fearne, along with several other members of the crew, were tasked with an impromptu rescue mission at an archaeological dig on Bajor, the discovery site of the legendary buried city of B'Hala. T'Fearne and three members of the science department, Commander Alieth, Commander Luxa Lorana and Ensign Sybil Nemes, while searching for some missing Bajoran researchers, found themselves transported back in time to ancient B'Hala.
