Backstory/Timeline

Deq'vish Neth has grown up in the Federation but that doesn't mean he has any great loyalty to his adopted people. Like most Yridian's, Neth is an information gatherer and trader with access to a surprising amount of contacts. Born and raised on a starbase, Neth realised the importance of computer technology at a young age - access to the computer gave you access to everything.

Neth entered Starfleet as an enlisted crewman putting his computer expertise to good use on several vessels. However, his career has been chequered to say the least - complaints from fellow crew, a spell in the brig for insubordination and as many demotions as promotions. There have also been a couple of (unproved) accusations that Neth has sold Federation programs on the open market but on both cases the charges have been dropped. Still, Neth doesn't seem to mind the suspicion. In fact he likes to play up to his reputation at times as he knows his skills, legitimate or not, remain in high demand.
