Hello Skye, | |||
I am Derek Allen and I play Second Lieutenant R'rraww Hontrú Marine Officer USS Juneau NX-99801 SB118-ID#: E239605RH0.
Recently during a Sim I wanted to address a topic that we made up for the Caitain species. A fact that I wanted to create that would allow us to come up with a new technology. As I hypothesize Caitain's cant see Holographic members of the crew that are not confined to a Holodeck or Holosuite. My story indicates that if it is a person like a Medical Hologram he has trouble seeing such a being. As you may know in the human eye there are rods and cones. I made up the fact that Caitain's also have spheres, that let them see in low light situations. These extra spheres also inhibit them from seeing the spectrum of light that creates Holographic people with limited emitters that would be found outside of a multi holo emitter system that is in a larger place like a Holodeck. In other words, the more emitters the better for a Caitain to see everything in the room, the fewer emitters the more difficult to see.
So in doing research we learned that there are contact lenses that are currently in development that will do what my whitepaper outlines. Also there are ocular implants that are part of Star Trek canon when it comes to the character Geordie La Forge.
My question is, how do I create a SB118 Wiki page in the fashion to be in concert with how you create and maintain your system. This technology is based on reality and Trek canon and I want to make something that can be part of our universe and for others, (like the engineering character I asked to assist me in development of the technology in the story we wrote) It is called the Cat's Eye Project and I have a completed Google Docs white paper that outlines is usage and design.
I am not sure how I will receive your answer to this letter, but I will look out for your advice and instructions. Thank you so much for your time.

Thanks
Thanks for deleting that page. Maddie Hyden (she was the page creator) contacted me too about it, and I was trying to find how to do it, or where to list it. Delan Han (talk) 03:08, 5 January 2019 (UTC)
Ohanze
I do not plan to add anything more than I did already. I do not know enough about the species to do so. I had a few ideas I was playing around with but in the end decided to only add the quote which I felt was fairly accurate based on what I read about them and the worked up sections for their planets since I have the workbooks for calculating planetary data for use in games. Got lucky and was able to print off a copy before they were removed from internet about 10 years ago. By the way this is Daryl Peacock, Cmdr. Tal Tel-ar. Canreb (talk) 16:29, 23 January 2019 (UTC)
Hello I worked up the details regarding the 4 colonized planets of this species using the planet generation work book that I picked up a number of years ago. I was wondering if you could use that on this wiki page. It would help get them closer to completion and does not involve any required simming. Also that way all players would be able to base any contact with one of the planets off of the same data. I have done this for most of the species on the wiki so that they have accurate and proper planetary listings that are set up in an identical fashion of all of the species pages. I used what little information has been simmed and then filled in the rest of the planet data form. Just an idea.... Canreb (talk) 15:32, 21 February 2019 (UTC)
Meridian
Hello
This is (Daryl) Cmdr. Tal Tel-ar I was trying to add a reference to the Meridian wiki page however as I am a self taught wiki user and I have no idea how you set up the current references section on that page. I have never encountered that format.
Could I ask you nicely to add the reference for me.
The USS Montreal has landed outside of the capitol city of Meridian to deal with a medical quarantine emergency within the colony. While here Captain Mei'konda and a small away team are engaged in diplomatic talks with the Klingons who have an embassy facility outside the city while Dr. Skyfire and Dr. Solok help the colony to deal with the contagious outbreak. Various Juk'Iians from the slums outside of the city have been disruptive and a nuisance during this time.

A newly developed technology and how to create a page for our Cat's Eye contact lenses
Hello Skye,
I am Derek Allen and I play Second Lieutenant R'rraww Hontrú Marine Officer USS Juneau NX-99801 SB118-ID#: E239605RH0.
