Chronological History
Simon is the oldest of two children born to Joshua and Elizabeth Bentham. He was born in Toronto, Canada and moved to San Fransico when he was 10 and his sister, Talia, was four.
He always knew from a young age that he wanted to be someone that helped people like his father but he didn't consider himself smart enough. Although as he grew and listened more to his father talk about his work, his memory and his interest grew. Watching his father smile in relief when he saved a patient or his sadness when it wasn't meant to be, Simon knew that if he could help people in the way his father has done, then that was what he wanted to do with his life.
Elizabeth Bentham (His mother) is an artist and his sister is a growing holostory author. Simon's leanings were more to the factual and what he could see infront of him. He grew as a student, doing well in both sciences and maths but struggled making friends through out school. It was only during medical school and at the academy, he truly began to open up and gain confidence in himself.
Simon is most at home on the holodeck, fixing up old earth motors. Currently he is rebuilding a 1967 Chevrolet Impala. He does enjoy reading and can be found during down time either on the holodeck or with a good book in hand. He takes time to warm up to people but once he does, he is your friend and colleague for life.
