Backstory
Laef'eah Etecs is an Aurelian, born in an area to the southwest of Aurelia, zir family moved across the quadrant to Melbourne, Australia due to an environmental science opportunity when zie was only four years old. After an impromptu conversation about books, Laef met Renaie, an older student and, later, close friend. Despite a mostly unassuming life, Zie was unsure of what to do after graduating secondary school. After a couple years of failures (for a myriad of reasons), applying to (and then starting) Starfleet Academy at almost twenty, was where zie stayed.
