Personal History

Sidney was born the eldest child to Charles and Catherine 'Kitty' Wilde, and took over the family business - Wilde Industries - from his father. He had never any ambition to join Starfleet, but instead worked tirelessly to ensure the family business prospered. Three of his brothers joined Starfleet instead, as well as both of his children.

He is still CEO of Wilde Industries, who specializes in manufacturing computer isolinear chips, processors and engine parts for Starfleet and other Federation worlds, as well as private businesses. He recently passed the duties of President to his daughter, Amber in 2398. While monetary wealth is not sought after in 24th century life, the Wilde's are considered incredibly rich. He is the eldest of several siblings, and the Wilde's are known to be descended from ancient English nobility.

Sidney has been a hard worker for all of his life, so whenever he got to visit Danny on the starships he was serving on he liked to let his hair down and be considered 'one of the boys'. Many times he's started late night poker games and smuggled bottles of brandy aboard, and usually suffers the next morning for it!

He has been married to Joanna Wilde for nearly fifty years and the two are still very happy. Joanna has a reputation of being overly flirty, but it's never gone any further than harmless flirtations.

He is a Starfleet Merchant who supplies private shuttles and starships wih old Starfleet engines. Once extremely Xenophobic (he once ignored his brother for marrying a Ktarian for three years) his attitudes soon changed once he met Idril Mar.
