It would have been an understatement to say that Nathan was excited when he was accepted into Starfleet Academy. His major was of course selected as Engineering with a specialty in propulsion, and his minor settled into Helm and Ops. Proudly, he excelled within both his major and minor fields, with only a few hold ups along the way. One particular evening found Nathan and several of his classmates "commandeering" some of the Academy's training shuttles for a late night race around San Fransisco Bay.
