Personal History

Previous Hosts:

Michol (Michjo)
Michol was Jo’s first host. Upon joining they decided to combine names and became Michjo. It is not clear who’s idea it was nor whether it was done by force. A promising young cargo ship captain, Michjo was recruited by a local syndicate to smuggle goods along well policed trade routes. He was only caught once and escaped serious prison time when his parents fronted money for an advocate. He continued on for several years before his death at the age of fifty-two. He was killed by former syndicate members under suspicion of stealing money from them. The allegations turned out to be false. Fortunately for the symbiote, Michjo was on the Trill homeworld at the time.

Ancker (Ancjo)
Jo’s second host, Ancker, was an engineer. To honor the memory of the last host, Anker decided to get the name scheme and changed his to Anchjo, thus starting a tradition that’s continued to the present. Initially Anchjo was an engineer for a mining company, but Michjo’s call to adventure was finally too much to ignore, and Anchjo joined militia ship as a civilian engineer. Afraid of another “boring” joining, Anchjo decided, before it could be decided for him, to pick his next joining. He contacted the old syndicate and arranged for an up and coming enforcer and hitman to be his next joining.

Pacri (Pacjo)
Once the illegal joining was made, Pacri, now Pacjo, used his previous hosts skills in smuggling and engineer to augment his assassination skills. Pacjo became a very successful and very wanted hitman and tracker. He traveled the galaxy for the syndicate carrying out all manner of dubious acts. After about seven years with this host, the syndicate was taken down by officials on the Trill home world via a mole inside the syndicate. Pacjo was captured and the host was sentenced to death. The symbiote was forcibly placed in a new host designed to rehabilitate it.

Vilca (Vilchjo)
Vilca was to be the symbiote’s rehabilitation host. She was a chef in a high end restaurant on Risa and a very pleasant and grounded person. The joining only lasted a year. The lack of adrenalin and excitement threw the symbiote into a deep depression and it began to effect the work of the chef. She contacted the council in charge of joining, pleading to find a way to remove it. When told this was not possible, Vichjo, distraught, attempted to commit suicide. Doctors were able to save the symbiote but lost the host.

Jocan (Jochjo)
Jocan was born on a Vulcan cruiser. His parents were civilian doctors working on the cruiser. He spent the first six years of his life on the ship. After that his family moved to the colony on Mars. When he was of age, Jocan joined the Starfleet Marine Corps. His parents never really accepted that he wanted to be a marine and not join Starfleet Academy. Fortunately for them, Jocan’s sister, Coja, did join Starfleet Academy. Unfortunately she was killed in a training accident just four months into training. Jocan was on leave on Risa when the Jo symbiote was removed from the dying host. As the only Trill on the planet at the time, Jocan felt obliged to host it. Upon the joining, Jocan officially changed his name to Jochjo and was given extra leave time to return to the Trill home world and receive training on how to live with the symbiote. Due to the symbiote in question, the Trill requested for the SFMC to medically discharge Jochjo. After much debate the SFMC reluctantly agreed. After three years on the home world, Jochjo returned to reenlist. However, he was told he would have to start from scratch. Jochjo agreed, and reenlisted.
