• Habits: Richards has a tendancy to look too deeply into things. His constant quest for knowledge has caused him many a problem socially in the past with some wondering how he managed to hold down his relationship with Marissa.
• Mannerisms: Richards is very abrupt, often not thinking before speaking. This has been known to get him to trouble on more than one occasion.

• Achievements in Life: Achieved A+'s in maths, English and science at the Tycho Academy. Graduated from Eton with A grade A levels in English, maths, science, French and German. Graduated from Oxford with firsts in Mechanical Engineering and Modern Languages.
• Disappointments in Life: Richards feels that he has no disapointments iu life. How others view the way he lives however is a different matter.
• Temperment: Richards has a tendancy to be brash, arrogant and sarcastic at inapropriate times. However, among large crowds he can become quite shy and introverted.
• Mental problems (complexes and phobias): Due to his high I.Q. Richards has become socially inept. During all his years he has shyed away from social contact except where necessary. There are very few people outside of his birth and marital familly who have gotten to know him well. Although never officialy diagnosed, he may have OCD. For Richards, certain elements of his life, or his room must be kept a certain way. He has been known at least on one occasion to 'lose' it after things had been moved.
• Physical Limitations: Allthough toned through his Academy training, Richards is no more physically able than his fellow human officers. He has an average strength for a human male and an average stamina level. - Notably, Eichards was unwittingly entered into the Academy marathon. He failed to finish through a combination of heat exhaustion and thirst.
