His father, James Deacon (J.D.), works as a systems engineer, and his mother Allaine is a teacher of literature, ethics and arts. His brother Owen serves in a constabulary position in the same colony. Edgar's sister Everleigh (Eve) was a starfleet ensign, but went missing in action over a year ago.

History
Soon as she could read her dad gave me a book that teaches you about most of the planets and constelations. Than, at night her dad told her about the first starship into space. Ever since she always dreamed to go on a starship and explore space. When she was eleven her family drove past a starship being built. That same day she told her dad she want to be an engineer because how cool it looked when the people where building a starship.
When she was fourteen. Her brother, Robert, teased her because she was getting a C+ in Math, and to become an egineer she needed to be perfect at math. The only reason she didn't get in trouble with her parents beacuse she didn't tell her parents. To make her dreams come true she needed to tell her parents. It was hard because she's very stubborn. Exspecially when getting help from her dad because she feels dumb when shes ask him for help with Math. Mostly, because her dad is a math genuis. She told Robert why she can't ask her dad he asked, "Why do you care that you don't have an A+ at leat you're passing?" Lyndsey realized that she only told her dad about her dream, so she decideded tell Robert about her dream to become an engineer with the Federations of planets. To help her Robert told her that he will help her with Math. After, he started helpinh her she got A+ during High school.
Robert also incouarged Lyndesy when she was nervouse about joing Starfleet. During, the time at the academy she learned to find her own couarge and she is ready to go off into space. Where she face more fears and get more couarge. Now to graduate all she needs is to pass the final exam.
