The Alpha Chionus is an uninhabited and minimally explored star system located within the Menthar Corridor. The USS Gorkon conducted an initial survey mission in late 2392.

Alpha Chionus IV: A planet at the edges of the system's circumstellar habitable zone (aka the "Golilocks zone"), Alpha Chious is habitable for humanoid life. Winters are harsh, with much of the hemisphere experiencing heavy snowfall and sub-zero temperatures.
