Background

Harold was born on Earth around Madrid where he did most of his secondary school and training. The Turak family has a long tradition in Star Fleet and frankly any fleet that has occurred on Earth. To know Harold is to know the family name. Harold's Grandfather served as captain in his time and his father Ceaser was a highly esteemed shipwright. During Harold's time growing up he was pushed and prodded at times to join the long standing tradition at Starfleet. It didn't occur to Harold at the time that he was not above and beyond the cut of the rest of the recruits. He thought he was better than a lot of them at the time and made many friends along the way.

An incident at the academy shook his confidence to the core. Growing up, there was a swagger to Harold that you wouldn't have expected from a cadet shorter than most. He was set up at one point through his so called friends at the academy and was pounded more than a few times to put his confidence and cockiness down a peg or two. The incidents were looked at be the teachers but without more than he said, she said arguments there was nothing the teachers could do. That ultimately pushed Harold into isolation and found time for self defense classes and took the route of the more studious cadet there after. There is always pressure to perform with being a legacy student. There is always more to one's story, but mainly its through ones actions that Harold must explore his own path.

Service History

Below you'll see a table which contains images for rank pips - you can change the word 'Gold' for 'Red' or 'Teal' or one of the other colors listed earlier to match your duty post. Again, not all ranks are available in all colors and/or pipstyles. You can change pips from the default to a different style such as DS9, STO, or Slanted by adding DS9, STO, or Slanted after the color.

SIM Archive

Replace the links below with links to your own SIMs that you find memorable or are important to your character - you may want to add more as your time with the fleet goes on! You can find a complete archive of sims here at the SIM Archive.
To end your bio, we're going to drop in some code here for your ship's crew template, which should appear at the bottom of your bio and will help members of the fleet easily browse other bios of your shipmates. Change the name of the ship below to whatever the name of your character's ship is, unless of course you've been assigned to the USS Gemini! Don't forget the letter suffix for your ship if yours has one (such as the USS Darwin-A).
