History:
Born to Parents, Darzen and Maurita. Being the younger of the brothers (Mace). He felt he always had something to prove and was often getting himself into trouble just to show off to his brother. This rivalry often went over the top and soon found Tajor leaving Trill to find a new adventure.
The rift between his brother grew when his brother Mace was selected in the Symbiont program. Realizing that there was no way he could "one up" his brother he completely cut ties with his family. Finding himself in poor situations he turned to a life of grifting to amuse himself, and to pass the time. This was often followed by most nights becoming increasingly volatile in bars.
He was offered work on a freighter by an old captain who has served with Starfleet before being discharged. Captain Jacobs found pitty on Tajor. Slowly weening him off his alcoholism, Jacobs pushed Tajor into piloting his vessel with hopes it would help Tajor into a steadier life. During this time Tajor found he enjoyed piloting a ship.
Soon he was applying himself harder and trying to impress Jacobs. Jacobs retired wanting to leave the ship to Tajor. But he already had stars in his eyes and had starfleet in his mind where he would pilot the best ships in the galaxy. He was rejected the first year of the academy. Before his third attempt he was accepted.
He was older than most cadets, but acted like many of them. He was often seen at the local bar again, with once difference. He never drank, knowing his own devils would stop him from piloting a Starfleet ship.
His hate of confrontation and often using quick words to get himself out of tight situation, earned him a reputation on campus as a fun loving, yet cocky kind of guy. He was often challenged at the Academy but with a quick wit and a natural learning ability he soon adapted to the tough standards.
