Backstory
Chrissy Bennett is a medical technician aboard the USS Independence-A in her late teens. Among her friends are a woman named Carla and Tori Parker, a nurse's assistant, who like Bennett, enjoys gossip.
In 2387, she held a crush on Alleran Tan, a pilot who had recently transferred from the USS Achilles, who was romantically involved with Captain Sidney Riley. After the captain suffered a serious injury requiring major surgery, Parker helped Bennett gain access to Riley's medical records, which revealed that the captain's injuries would prevent her from returning to active starship duty.
